Our introductory
single CDR set contains two shows from Rough Diamond's only US tour. This is
the first time both of these shows have appeared together on a single CDR. Rough
Diamond was formed by David Byron after his firing from Uriah Heep, and includes
ex-Humble Pie guitarist Clem Clempson and ex-Wings drummer Geoff Britton. Rounding
out the lineup are unknowns Willie Bath on bass and Damon Butcher on keyboards.
Rough Diamond would not survive long after this tour. A shame, as these songs
are far better live than the studio album, and Clempson shows off his incredible
chops on several jams.
