This show is the earliest known complete live show recording of Heep, and includes three concert standards (Bird of Prey, Time to Live, and Gypsy), three songs not available on any other live Heep recording (Dreammare, Simon and Salisbury), and one song which has not been released in any format (So Nice). A shame, as So Nice is one of the best blues tunes that Heep ever wrote. The inclusion of Salisbury is also a plus, as we get to hear the song without the backing orchestra that plays on the studio, and Heep pulls it off tremendously.
While this show has been heavily bootlegged, we decided to include it due to the historical significance and due to the remastering job by SK Digital and the new speed correction by the Carolina Heepsters Association. The sound quality improvement on the encore of Gypsy is particularly impressive, as it has been restored to the same sound levels as the rest of the show.
