First Impression

Gliding by me, I witnessed a vision.
Motions slowed, so I could catch each detail.
Such allure, to be possessed by one creature.
So full of life, so happy was her trail.

My limbs forgot, all sequence of function.
My tongue refused, to form words coherently.
What an idiot I knew she was thinking.
Ill just slip away, salvaging my dignity.

Her smile blossomed, distance between us, collapsed.
The world outside, disappeared out of view.
Its nice to meet you we said almost in unison.
Stories, opinions, and dreams did ensue.

Its been fun, but I regret I must leave now.
Could we meet sometime, to visit more?
Thatd be great. She says as Im leaving.
One last look, and WHAM my face meets the door.
