| Divine Fragments This world is so loud, with opinions and theories. Followers and Armies, to support they are right. It was a bang, No its an illusion. We evolved. No divinely created. It was a chicken first. No it was an egg. Pointing fingers, Gets us nowhere. Could it be that deep within us, the truth can be extracted? We all have limitations, Many things beyond control. Within our comprehension and outside of factual knowledge, Some wonderful things exist, The very core of you and me. I am not simply a response, to a bang or a stimuli. I cant prove a soul exists, without searching inside myself. Since I exist, at this time, for some mysterious reason. It is within that reason that a something must indeed exist. I must be a fragment of a something so much greater, Something I cant explain Except from a fragmented point of view. Since a soul is at my core, And similarly one in you. How can problems grow so big, With this obvious cognizance? You and I, so much the same, Though separated by skin and brain. Prejudiced to a different culture, How could we ever return as one? Brothers and Sisters cant you see it, We are isolated, pieces of greatness, One day, I am hopeful, Together well become one. Paul Fresco Fort Worth, Texas Copyright 2002 All rights reserved.
