Red Shoes Billiards will be hosting a "Qualifier" for the 71st World Tournament (Straight Pool) July 23rd, 2011. Entry fee: $105, double elimination, 100 point games, limited to 16 players (TOP 2 players Qualify), players meeting 12:00 noon. LOCATION: Red Shoes Billiards. 12009 S. Pulaski Rd. Fresh from his win at the Lucasi Hybrid New England 9-Ball Tour Championship - Jeremy Sossei travels to the Simonis Arena to do battle with Victor Nau in a Race to 11 - 10-Ball match featuring Pat Fleming's Arena Rules and 30 second shot clocks.
Jeremy is from Watertown Ct. and has won multiple times on the Predator, Joss, Mezz, and Viking Tours. He has finished second at Turning Stone and third in the Derby City 9-Ball Division.
Victor is a player familiar with the Simonis Arena. Hailing from Nanuet NY, Victor has won regional Tri-State events.
