possibly begin reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom (Note: this novel is NOT based on any religion. "Heaven" in the title refers to a dream that the author's uncle had one night. His dedication page explains that this in only ONE opinion on what Heaven may be and the author feels that everyone's opinions should be respected. Please feel free to call me or e-mail me if you have comments or concerns on our reading of this novel in class. This novel is being read to discuss the impact that people have on our lives and the impact that we have on other people's lives. Sometimes, the impact is so small that we don't even realize that we've made a difference. That is the concept that I will be teaching while we read this novel in class. It is solely focused on the dynamics of human relationships.)
