Elqui Valley (Chile)
Picture of the Elqui's Valley, from the road to Pisco Elqui.
The Elqui Valley, is a beautiful place in the north of Chile, in the middle of the mountains.  It's my dad's favorite place, and we have been there many times, since I was a little girl. It's a rural area, with great weather, having sunny skies most of  the year. Famous for it's grapes, piscos (brandy like liquor made of grapes), for being a great place for astronomical research, and also for it's esoteric communities.
