Sasami is the second princess of Jurai and sister to Ayeka. In an alternate universe Sasami is know as Pretty Sammy the Magical Girl (also a OAV spin-off). The two things that Sasami likes the most have to be cooking and Ryo-ohki. Ryo-ohki and Sasami are almost always together. Playing games or just sitting around, the two have a special friendship. Sasami is just a little girl that wants to have fun. Her first appearance is in OAV #2. When Tenchi meets her she wants him to get her sisters head band or she wouldn't help him get out of the space ship (another game no doubt). Tenchi goes along and enters Ayeka's room and finds the head band alright, but Ayeka is still wearing it! Tenchi also finds the sword that he found in Ryoko's cave in Ayeka's room. "First things first." Tenchi says and tries to get the sword. When Ayeka wakes up Tenchi is on top of her and she screams for Azaka and Kamidake, her royal guardians. Tenchi runs away and Sasami gets a good laugh.
Sasami Kawai is the little fourth grade girl that can change into Pretty Sammy. This alternate story line is quite silly if you ask me. Washu is a teacher, Ryoko and Ayeka are annoying highschool students, and Tenchi is actually quite superficious. The whole story revolves around Sasami and her arch rival Pixy Misa, and Tsunami and her arch rival Ramia.
