Kyosho Mini-z Overland
The mini-z line by Kyosho has been a popular series for several years now, and had a host of clones made after it. The radioshack xmod is another car in this scale. However, the original mini-z was restricted to flat surfaces and racetracks, thus the introduction of the mini-z overland. Designed after SUVs instead of street racers, the overland has a newly designed suspension system, allowing it to travel over bumps in the road and even do some rock climbing. (Kyosho has recently released an overland with larger tires, the mini-z monster.)
All Kyosho cars seem to have a large amount of aftermarket upgrades and parts, and entire overland chassises can be made aluminium if desired.

The perfex radios included are known for being comfortable, although the old kt-2 is supposedly more fitting to the hand. All new readysets come with kt-5s.

Pros: FAST almost as fast as the street racers, even, huge amount of modability, Made in Japan means clean quality, comfortable radio, highly detailed bodies, large amount of articulation

Cons: unsealed means no sand or dirt driving, scale tires and small size do not allow driving in grass, only 2wd

Overall: 9.9/10 It performs exactly how it should -  but its a little expensive compared to say an xmod or even a mini-z street racer.
