Paintings
Below are some thumbnails of Paintings I saw during my trip, click on them to see them bigger. Some of the pictures are not of the best of quality as they were taken from post cards and for that I appologize.
L'Aurore et Cephale This was my favorite painting from the entire trip. It was painted in 1810 by Baron Pierre-Narcisse Guerin and is desplayed in the Louvre, Paris. (taken from a postcard)
Le Sacre de Napoleon I This was my second favorite picture. It was painted by Louis David, 1806-1807 and is also desplayed in the Louvre, Paris. (postcard really poor quality, sorry. If you find a better quality copy lemme know)
Atala au Tombeau Painted by Girodet de Roussy-Trioson in 1808. I think it is very cool, but kinda sad painting. Louvre, Paris. (postcard)
Le Jeune Martyre Painted by Paul Delaroche in 1855. I love this picture. Louvre, Paris. (postcard)
Not sure the title of this piece, it is done by A. Caracci though. (postcard)
Le Plafond du Salon d'Hercule. The Ceiling of the Hercules Drawing-Room. Chateau de Versailles, France. (postcard)
Ceiling of the Madeleine. (postcard)
L'oiseau Mort Painted by Greuze in 1800. Legs du baron Arthur de Rothschild, 1904. Desplayed in the Louvre, Paris. (postcard)
