Can You
Back to the Labyrinth
Can you be with me internally
And lick my wounds to taste my fear
Wear me like a battered dress
Hover above my quivering mess

Can you please give me your autograph
Hear me mew like a wounded calf
Dress my wounds and calm me down
Burn my house down to the ground

Can you suck my tounge until it's dry
'til I cannot taste those terrible lies
Ease me out of my plastic mould
Watch their smokescreen tendrils unfold

Can you kiss me so It can't be unsealed
I can wear you like a protective shield
Smooth you out like a hankerchief
Recieving you like a parting gift

Can you see me finally as I am
A fragile crumbling frightened lamb
With hunger hotter than the sun
But cut my strings and I shall run.
