29 November Monday
Spades
Just played Yahoo spades with Jeff...very fun, esp bidding nil. (I think next time I'll just anyhow bid nil since it's so easy to make) Didn't get to bid double nil lah...cos we are always leading mah...haha. We won 2 rounds and lost 1...and I feel so proud already. Psst...we cheated a little but I think it's ok lah *dun smack my face pls*. After that the opponents left, either they were scared of us (cos we kept bidding nil) or they were too bored by Jeff and I cos both of us didn't chat in the game at all...busy at msn mah...hehe. Then we played with the robots...aiyoh they are so stupid, anyhow bid one, so boring playing with them.

Just completed my Tales of Symphonia (that's why I've the time to play Spades) and I'm planning to start on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soon. Haiz...I'm flooded with games liao, can anyone help me to play some? (j/k)

Xi Lin Men is getting interesting, all the schemes and plots and ppl's true colours are revealing liao. Beating up each other, slapping the face, pushing down the stairs, getting frustrated, chased by some baddies...me very sadistic hor? Dunno why leh, I would become very excited whenever I see such stuff, perhaps it's just part of human nature. Today's Ye Man Qin Jia very funny...almost spewed out my saliva while laughing.

These few days Channel U is promoting their new show Ling2 Lou2 (The English title is '0'...so weird), which they also claim it's going to be their last drama. Those who plan to watch it, pls give me your comments abt the show ok? (Actually I dun really like shows with a lot of cast unless each and every one of them plays an impt role in the story) And also who has watched Yi Xin Ren? Gimme your comments also. (I only know Shaun plays the baddie) More mystery genre dramas pls. Ch8 is going to air a show of this kind soon...titled Yin Cha Yang Cuo. (Anyway why am I talking abt this...you all dun really care right?)

Ok...pose a qn to you all...is Zhou Chongqing (Is his English name Dennis Chew or sth?) above or under 30 years old?

26 November Friday
CIP
First time doing CIP in special homes for disabled ppl, organised by the band. Went to Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD) in Tiong Bahru...it's so hidden that we were lost along the way. Made us walk here walk there for nothing... Anyway that's not the main point. After reaching the place finally, a volunteer from SPD greeted us and took us around the centre. Some physically disabled ppl are also intellectually disabled, and have difficulty in expressing themselves, only shouting/making weird noises and waving their hands most of the time. Ya...majority of them sit on wheelchairs. After watching a video on SPD, we were given 2 books of donation coupons to sell. Ugh...I really hate selling tickets/coupons... Only $2 for one coupon! I'm sure most of you will support me right? Yo...so fast noon liao...so we went for lunch lor.

The real work came after lunch, I was assigned to do admin stuff with the clerk. (along with Zhiwei) I dun really mind since I need not interact with the disabled ppl...but it defeats the purpose of CIP...I feel like I'm participating in some kind of work attachment programme in the office. Some trivial admin stuff to be done, like counting coupon books, retrieving documents from files, and arranging coupons in order. They are tedious, time-consuming and too low-skilled liao...if office work is going to be like that, I rather stay at home to fix jigsaw puzzles. Zhiwei's job was worse: had to copy and paste lists of school info into excel. Sooooo boring and bad for the eyes. I quickly rushed to finish my job before 4pm, which was the time I tot we would be dismissed. Unfortunately I was unable to finish it on time and just as I tot we could go, the clerk gave me some more work from Zhiwei, which was unfinish-able even within the next 1-2 hour or so. Finally Joel saved both of us from the misery by calling us and saying that the rest of the grp were already waiting. Phew...luckily the clerk didn't hold us up till knock off time.

Next weekend still have to sell donation coupons at Expo (so far away...sobz). First time selling tickets/coupons to the public...very inexperienced...dunno how to approach those ppl. Anyone can give me some tips? Haiz...dun even feel like going also... I think my CIP hours shld be enough liao (last checked I've got 39h...not including the morning assembly playing).

25 November Thursday
Rotting
I feel like I'm rotting at home...haven't been to anywhere except school (for band pracs) for the past one week. Everyday sitting in front of the monitor playing my Tales of Symphonia...and the game is coming to an end liao. Anyway this is always how I spend my holidays for the past 5 years and I wonder if what I'm currently doing is really worth my time. Now that I mention it, how do those who dun play games spend their holidays? It's going to be so boring for them lor....actually not really lah...they can read books, do some sports (both which I dun enjoy :p). After being glued to the game, I dun have the will to go outdoors anymore. (but got will to play cards/mahjong...) Eat eat, play play, sleep sleep lor...I think I'm growing fatter liao...like what Zhaoyang said abt a month ago. Besides I'm also becoming dumber, like what my bro claims himself to be after enlisting in NS. So in other words, I'm rotting...>-<

How's the Singapore Idol ah? Didn't watch but heard a lot of bad things abt Sylvester. Ppl say he got no looks and cannot sing, but got a lot of fangirls (just like the Hung guy...). Sigh...what is this world coming to? When one performs well, the comments are only "hmm...good...good...". When one's performance is (extremely) poor, then everyone will exclaim, "HE RAWKS BIG TIME!!!1!!1! HE'S TEH BEST! WELL DONE!!". Such ppl attract so much attention that others want to praise them...lol. In today's world, ppl no longer appreciate beauty (there are sooo many around us...we're already immune to that liao). Ugliness shall soon reign. See the Star Awards lor...artistes with ugly roles are usually recognised. Nowadays the society is encouraging uniqueness which will outstand other "competitors" (dunno if it's the right word to use or not). So the easiest way is to be thick-skinned and "uglify" yourself so you can be better noticed by ppl, which is an important factor to success - making yourself known. Initially I tot ppl supported William Hung out of mockery, but I didn't expect him to take it so seriously...by cutting an album. And now he is holding concerts around the world. This is really super idiotic.

Back to sg idol...a lot of ppl expect Sylvester to win, merely becos he got herds of fangirls who will vote him like crazy and might protest against mediacorp shld he fail to win. And also, becos he is a chinese... As for me, I have no opinions cos I dun watch the show...haha.

22 November Monday
Tickets anyone?
Combined jc band concert (HCJC, NYJC, SRJC, JJC) @ hc audi, 16th dec thurs 7pm. Tickets priced at $6. Who wanna go? Pls approach me to purchase the tickets as soon as possible. Yes, obviously I'm performing. For those who haven't seen me play my instrument in concert before, here's your chance.

Sigh...I really hate selling tickets...but no choice lah, by hook or by crook must sell all 6. Dun feel like persuading ppl, cos it will seem like I'm compelling them to watch a concert which they probably won't enjoy. When I approach ppl, I'll get all sorts of excuses like "I'm broke for the holidays" (go and organise a charity show lor...it's the trend nowadays), "Got Grandmother Birthday" (ya...everyday seems to be their birthday...), "Too late liao" (what the...Filipino maid issit?), "Too far." (note the venue...you shldn't come to this sch if you really say that). Not interested then say not interested lor. As simple as that.

Haiz...after saying all these I think ppl will start replying "Not Interested" when I ask them to buy tickets...lol...I just killed myself. It's the holidays now...how to find ppl to buy? Selling tickets during the hols is terrible. If really can't find anyone to buy, I'll just create some puppets or use fen shen shu (good...I can watch myself this way).

Currently busy playing Tales of Symphonia and watching TV, so nothing much to blog abt. Any more cards/mahjong outing?

19 November Friday
Bridge/Mahjong session
Spent the whole day at Zhe Han's sis' house at Paya Lebar yesterday. The house is new and quite cosy too. Then his sis asked why ZH only brought guys and not girls...maybe we can include a girl next time for our gathering in his house...hah. Played bridge...for a few hours...then I suggested to go kbox and play mahjong...(kk...not funny anymore) Kbox a bit ex lah...some ppl too broke to afford liao, so we decided to play mahjong instead. Surprisingly there was a newly bought mahjong table in the house...which there wasn't supposed to be. (Maybe ZH sis specially bought it for our gathering yesterday...haha) Played for several rounds...but I only won a measly 3 rounds. Haiz...guess I haven't develop a strategy for mahjong yet...or the tiles I get were really bad. Talking abt that, I kept throwing tiles that other players can take...esp ZH. So in the process I helped others to win lor...sigh... Anyway does anyone know where to buy a mahjong set???

Those who were not playing mahjong went to fix the jigsaw puzzle. It was a whopping 2014 pieces! (2014 is a rather odd number....) The max I've done was 1500 pieces, of pics on Disney cartoons. Cartoon jigsaw is much much easier to assemble than those scenery-type ones. Seeing so many similar-coloured pieces really does make one sian diao. After a few hours, Zhaoyang and Jin Hin only managed to fix the side/corner pieces (the size of pic is sooo large...). The rest is up to ZH sis liao.

Played a few rounds of bridge before going to Beach Road hawker centre and eat dinner. Called for claypot rice...but I don't really like it cos the rice so black, so hard, full of bones all over the food...there was always at least a piece of bone in every scoop I took. However I was rather full after that...dunno why ZH felt so hungry...maybe he specially kept his stomach empty for our treat.

A bit bu hao yi si lor...ZH is the birthday boy but yet he still treats us tidbits. I wonder if treating him for dinner is enough as a birthday 'present', but most probably I'll buy a present for him by the next outing.

17 November Wednesday
Star Awards Nominees
Yay...Star Awards is here again. I'll be very excited whenever I talk abt this, but too bad nobody can share the excitement with me except one person, who I dun think reads this blog. Yup...the nomination list is already out, and I've made some predictions before that...here are what I predicted, as well as some comments:

MY PREDICTIONS:

Best leading male:
Li Nanxing - Hai You Ming Tian 2
Edmund Chen - Pao Ba Nan Ren
Xie Shaoguang - Xi Lin Men
Christopher Lee - Yi Qing Wei Liao
Chen Hanwei - Zhen Xin Mi Yu (I got nobody to nominate liao, so just put him in lor)

Other considerations: Tay Pinghui (All his roles this year are those kind of goody goody ones, nothing unique), Qi Yuwu (yes, I know he has been leading in a lot of shows lately, but I can't find any roles which can outstand him among the rest)

Best leading female:
Huang Biren - San Shi Feng Yu Lu
Ivy Lee - Xi Lin Men
Fann Wong - Wu Yan De Ai
Zoe Tay - Pao Ba Nan Ren (Haha...I feel a bit compelled to put these two Ah-jies in...)
Jeanette Aw - La Xiong La Mei (She has been starring in a lot of shows lately, so I just choose the one which I think her acting was the best)

Other considerations: Fiona Xie (Nah! Her roles are only capable of attracting those Lao Ti Ko(s). Why do I always think that she's still acting like a genie???), Aileen Tan (Her roles this year are not very interesting, except for Xi Lin Men, which I think wasn't good enough for her to be nominated...)

Best supporting male:
Jeff Wang - Xi Lin Men
Nick Shen - Wu Yan De Ai
Andrew Seow - La Xiong La Mei (seriously I hate his face and furthermore most of his roles make us hate him even more, but I admit his acting is rather good...that's why we hate him.)
Alan Tern - Xi Lin Men (Ok...I put his name cos I'm really out of nominees)
Hong Peixing - San Shi Feng Yu Lu (wait...hold on...is he eligible for star awards in the first place?)

Other considerations: Huang Yiliang (I can't stand his cockiness in real life...whenever he wins an award he will mutter some rubbishy stuff that will annoy everyone. Last year he niao his wife liao, I wonder who will be his next victim...)

Best supporting female:
Yang Libing - San Shi Feng Yu Lu
Xiang Yun - Xi Lin Men
Vivien Lai - Xi Lin Men
Patrica Mok - *Out of Zhen Xin Mi Yu, Yi Qing Wei Liao choose one...she's acting as the baddie in both shows*
May Phua - San Shi Feng Yu Lu

Best drama: Xi Lin Men, San Shi Feng Yu Lu, Hai You Ming Tian 2, Wu Yan De Ai, Xin Wang Zhui Xiong (I like this show...but it is seriously underrated.)

Green Apple:
The girl acting Wen Wen - Xi Lin Men (she's really really superb!)
The boy acting Joe Joe - Yi Qing Wei Liao (he's sooooo cute! Not only that, he can act quite well too!)
The boy acting Dahai - Hai You Ming Tian 2 (Hu Xu Lao...)
The boy in Fei Yi Ban Ma Ma
One more from Hai You Ming Tian 2 probably

THE ACTUAL NOMINATIONS: (mostly the same, except some surprises...)

Best leading male:
Li Nanxing - Hai You Ming Tian 2
Edmund Chen - Pao Ba Nan Ren
Xie Shaoguang - Xi Lin Men
Christopher Lee - Yi Qing Wei Liao
Qi Yuwu - Zhen Xin Mi Yu
My predictions quite accurate hor...except the last one.

Best leading female:
Huang Biren - San Shi Feng Yu Lu
Ivy Lee - Xi Lin Men
Fann Wong - Wu Yan De Ai
Xiang Yun - Xi Lin Men (what? she's actually a main actress in the show?...Dunno how they draw the line one...)
Jeanette Aw - Hai You Ming Tian (I think her La Xiong La Mei is better...more unique)

Best supporting male:
Jeff Wang - Xi Lin Men
Nick Shen - Wu yan De Ai
Andrew Seow - Pao Ba Nan Ren (???He got act in Pao Ba Nan Ren meh? I think it is a typo...)
Chen Shucheng - Zhen Xin Mi Yu (haha...there he goes again...got nominated thousands times liao but never won the award)
Zhang Wenxiang - Yi Qing Wei Liao (what the..?? This old actor suddenly return to act is actually becos he want to get award ah? I think Hong Peixing does a better job than him.)

Best supporting female:
Vivian Lai - Xi Lin Men
May Phua - San Shi Feng Yu Lu (her 'mother' Yang Libing shld have gotten in as well)
Chen Liping - Hai You Ming Tian 2 (err...ok...she always gets nominated for this kind of minor roles...like the Fa Yi 'X' Dang An last time)
Hong Huifang - Xi Lin Men (I hate her hair btw...)
Li Yinzhu - Hai You Ming Tian (what? an elderly actress? The one who always acts as mother/grandmother in many shows? Her acting is very good, but if she is eligible from the start, why didn't mediacorp nominate her last time? But instead wait till now? Hmm...)

Best comedian:
Chen Jianbin, Mark Lee, Moses Lim, Patrica Mok - ALL from Comedy Night (this shows that mediacorp is seriously lacking in comedies nowadays...)
Zhang Wenxiang - Men Dang Hu Dui (him again?!?! I dun remember him acting in this show leh...I think it is a typo...it must be referring to the one who acted as Li Qing in Bo Yin Ren)

Best host:
Jeff Wang, Zhuang Mixue (forgot her English name liao) - NETS You Qian Kun
Chen Jianbin - Zhou Wu Yu Le Wang
Mark Lee - Ke Ren Lai
Sharon Au - Wei Li Wu Bi Jia You Zhan

Best drama:
San Shi Feng Yu Lu
Xi Lin Men
Hai You Ming Tian
Wu Yan De Ai
Zhen Xin Mi Yu (this is a stupid show)

Best variety:
Wu Wu Da Jiao Huan
Wo Shi Chuang Xin Wang
Ming Xin Hao Bang Shou
Liu Xing Xiao Yuan
Xiu Chu Zhen Wo

Green Apple:
Chen Jiele - Tiansong in Hai You Ming Tian 2
Chen Xingyu - Chengzu (Joe Joe) in Yi Qing Wei Liao
Huang Junlong(lol...one letter diff from my name!) - Zhengkang in Fei Yi Ban Ma Ma
Li Xianmin - Wen Wen in Xi Lin Men
Xiao Liyuan - Dahai in Hai You Ming Tian 2

Best newscaster/current affairs host: All the same as last year

There you go...I shall predict the award winners at a later date.

14 November Sunday
Looking At The Past: 2004
Ok...I said in my earlier entry that I would be looking back at all the important events which happened this year. This will probably bring back some nostalgia for some of you (if you have been participating in them). It is still less than a year so hopefully most of you can still remember...

2 Jan - First Day in HCJC : A bit nervous but excited...made my way to the Hall and saw students with many different uniforms. There was a whole bunch of tchs guys at one corner (in fact the whole area near the stage) so I went to join them. Very very glad to see my old sec sch classmates again...it's like reuniting with my class. Proceeded to the audi after that, and sat there for the rest of the day. Tons of speeches, talks, announcements, etc. Realised that the seat was very uncomfortable...too hard as compared to tchs audi comfy seats. Felt very uneasy cos so many ppl from other schools...it's like some interschool competition briefing. Finally settled down with the choice of double maths after much consideration (and asking ppl for opinions). My other choice was triple science. I didn't regret my choice till now...double maths rocks.

8 Jan - Campfire Night : The event which really made me feel a sense of belonging to HCJC. This also marked the end of the 3.5-day orientation. Didn't expect it to be so spectacular...*din your parents told you not to play with fire???* What the councillors did was really da dan...but it made me realise the beauty of fire, esp the rising phoenix, and the burning urn thingy. Ya...there was the best facility item competition too. S3 won! Haha...thanks to S32 and their 'cheena' skit...lol (dubbing rocks...). Before it ended, there were singing and dancing, followed by a crazy pandemonium of human chains meandering abt the central plaza.

Angel-Mortal Game : There was a craze on this for the first few weeks when lessons officially started. For the first week, there were only lectures so everyone spent their break writing letters. Of course I joined in too. I also went to buy many coloured pens specially for this game. Collected stacks of postcards too...until now I still cannot use finish... I think I'm the only person in my class who was still writing letters after the June Holidays. (In fact it ended around July) So I suppose I can claim myself to be the most enthu in writing letters in my class (maybe even the whole cohort). Whoever is my angel or mortal next year must be very lucky! Provided he/she enjoys writing too.

21 Jan - CNY Celebrations : Prepared some cookies for my angel and mortal...watched the performaces for a while...a bit sian. When it was time to set up the class stalls, I quickly zao to the tchs side. Looked for Miss Pek at the KK Hall, then went to staff room to meet rest of the teachers (we were still wearing our sec sch uniform at that time). Some ppl were shocked that I managed to talk so much in front of the teachers...hehe. Becos of chu xi, so no one proposed an outing after that.

1 Feb - JTS in Changi Airport : Going all the way there was such a pain...anyway we went to eat at Swensons. (It was my first time) Prefer to get along with the seniors rather than my own classmates. After that some of us went Xiaoxuan's house to play cards. Too lazy to go home so I stayed overnight, along with Yiuyan. A bad experience...nvm.

14 Feb - Faculty Chalet : Went there on the 2nd day after band prac. Missed the shuttle bus, so had to call to taxi to take us to such a ulu place. Started to play cards with Xiaoxuan, Yong Feng and a 'variable' the moment I reached there. Play and play and play until very late at night. Was very tired...wanted to find a place to sleep but almost every piece of floor in the 2-storey house was occupied by 'dead bodies' (except the kitchen). Finally found an empty corner in one room, but not enough to fully stretch my legs (I'm too tall...). Slept there anyway. Next morning went to play cards with S32 ppl, before taking shutter, then MRT home.

27 Feb - Release of O Level results : Lessons resume for the first 4 periods...obviously everyone had no mood to pay attention. GP for the first 2 periods (watched some movie) followed by Chinese Culture lecture (eeek!!!) After dismissal, Yong Feng and I walked to tchs and happened to see the reporters interviewing two of our top scorers for o lvls, Ivan and another Malaysian...*shit...forgot his name liao*. There was also a photographer who called some students (including YF and I) to pose with two of them...carry them and stuff... Then realised that they were from Xin Ming Ri Bao...that means I'll be appearing in the papers! (I wonder if anyone had read and noticed me in the papers that day...) Drat...I lost that article liao...*sobz* After the whole thingy, we went to the hall and then the principal tok tok tok, we clap clap clap. Returned to the classroom to receive results. YF was feeling very upset abt his results and worried if he could continue staying in hc. Yong Feng, the situation wasn't as bad as you expected after all right?

Ok...I dun feel like re-typing my entries again so if you want to know more just look thru my archives...I admit I'm lazy... :p

12 November Friday
Borrow things from ppl and then lose it
I really hate this kind of ppl who dun bother to take good care of things belonging to others. This is not the first time I encountered such situations (obviously it is my things which are being lent to ppl) already. There was once when my book was lost by someone for almost one year. The book was never brought out of the house and I dun believe the house was so big and messy that the book cannot be found till a year later. If it is their things which are lost, then it is their own business, but now that thing belongs to other ppl. When I lend my stuff to ppl, I expect them to take good care of it, keep it properly when not used anymore, and able to return, instead of dumping/ditching/throwing my stuff around anyohow. It would be the best to return things to the owner after use, but if forgotten or inconvenient to return, it's ok...just make sure you know where the things are kept and able to return them when you remember or asked for. Sometimes it's not that I'm being so petty by hurrying ppl to return my stuff...if it is not used anymore, then return quickly...that will reduce (maybe prevent) the chance of losing it.

Ok...why did I manage to type so much abt that? In conclusion, dun lose things that you borrowed from ppl.

Getting terribly bored now...shall start a new game soon. The only form of entertainment for me now is the 7pm and 9pm drama serials. For Xi Lin Men, I can't wait to see the sibling's response when they know Jialong isn't their biological brother. For Ren Wo Ao You, I'm very eager to watch Yilin suffer a bad end. (Actually I know the ending liao but I dun want to give spoilers here) The upcoming new show Ye Man Qing Jia looks rather unique, but I'm very suspicious of the word "jia"..hinting that it would probably be another family-type shows. Hmm...the 2 'Tay's again...if I'm not wrong this is their 3rd show acting together. The 1st one is Jia Shi and the 2nd one is Shi Ji Gong Lue. Aiyoh...how come Zoe Tay so act cool in the show...and Vincent Ng so decent...Tay Ping Hui forever the same style one, ever since he joined the entertainment circle till now. Sometimes I feel obliged to watch Zoe Tay's shows...dunno why, perhaps there are always a lot of controversy over them. But I didn't watch Wo Jia Si Ge Bao last year...becos of ..erm...you know.

11 November Thursday
Deepavali
Happy Deepavali to the Indian readers of my blog, which I dun think there is any, except those who just happen to stumble upon my blog by accident. (and what is the probability that the person will be an Indian?) Anyway the yahoo geocities thingy appearing at the side of the browser is getting on my nerves, ever since when did they add that? Ok...the topic title is Deepavali but I'm not going to talk anything abt that... Just wanted to create an entry for fun so that ppl will continue to visit often.

I feel so aimless now that PW is over. Nothing to do much in Star Ocean anymore, since I've already defeated the toughest boss in the game. Maybe I'll start on a new game soon. But first I've to consider what academic stuff do I have to complete for this holiday before I indulge in such time-consuming entertainment. Firstly, the GP Issue and Ideas...responding to the article shld be no problem since I've gotten used to writing crap evaluations in PW...the only problem is reading those articles : p . Still got book review to do, sianz. I hate doing book reviews ever since primary school...or shld I say I hate reading. IIRC the last time I did a book review was during sec 1, where I just copied the synopsis of the book, or just read the first chapter and wrote abt that. (I'll be dead meat if Ms Kala read the particular book before...) I wonder if I still can review on Harry Potter books...hehe...if allowed, I shld be able to write one on Prisoner of Azkaban(sp?)...haha...very cheapo right?

Eh...I can't think of anymore things to do already...except for the Maths lecture test (can leave that till the last week). Must start to plan my holidays liao...if not will waste time on things like sleeping...

Anyway I hate Yilin!!! Yilin sucks, she's such a hypocrite!

10 November Wednesday
End of PW
Wanted to write an entry yesterday, but was too busy doing you-know-what for the whole day. Let's start off with yesterday's OP...everyone performed quite well lah, except for some who appeared very nervous, like Rosemary. Could see that her hands were trembling during her speech. Either she overpracticed, or expects a lot from herself, or just pure fear of public speaking (*insert prefix here*-phobia), which I think is unlikely otherwise she wouldn't run for council in the first place. Some remained natural, while others spoke in a way that we've never heard before. The class was astonished by Dawei's speech, as he has never projected his voice with such confidence. But the root of his problem still persist - reciting everything from memory (too unnatural), looking everywhere except at the audience (no eye contact). This is a huge leap from his speech during the previous trial run. That's the Dawei we know.

Of course there were also some screw-ups, like Kaizhi ringing the bell at the wrong time, distracting Wenjia, and Chen Xi being so nervous that he forgot his speech momentarily. I think the best performing group for the day is Shuk In's group, presenting on Censorship in Singapore. I like their powerpoint also...very skilful and creative. Thazin's group also presented quite well lah...their plan of promoting early marriage really captured my attention. (I like the pic on the mass wedding one) Jialing's group presentation was well done, but it was too statistical/technical liao...hard to attract audiences like me. The best thing abt Han Xiao's group presentation was the pictures...haha...very interesting.

Ok...ok, I've talked abt everyone except those in my group. It was probably bad luck (or a blessing in disguise?) that 6 (yes...six) examiners were observing our presentation lor. 2 normal assessors, 2 moderators and 2 MOE personnel. Aiyoyo...the MOE ppl looked rather friendly, the scary ones were the moderators (Nirmala Ong and one Ang Moh man). Our presentation went fairly well, no major screw-ups , our group members also performed their best. The bad part was the Q & A, where I screwed up...(no, I did not stumble at the qn) I dun want to describe what happened lah...very the malu leh. Perhaps I've been cursing PW like mad these few days and therefore take the opportunity to pounce back at the assessors. I think they are going to comment, "Jun Rong doesn't understand my question, his answer contradicts each other, he...blah blah." So sad. I think I was rather mean lah...saying such hurtful statements like "I think you misunderstood me." to the examiners. Hopefully they will da ren you da liang and dun penalise so much for my folly. One of the assessors was quite chio...but her chio-ness was ruined by the gigantic black specs...lol..oh nvm. At least I got the chance to get back at PW lah...haha (PW = Assessors). I'm not like Kaizhi who said 'PW sucks' blatantly in front of the assessors...

After OP is over, which was already late afternoon, my group (except Chen Kan) made our way to Jieying's house to finish up all the minutes. Her house was quite small lah...(a lot of McDonald toys...can send them for display liao) and a bit noisy also cos only 2nd floor mah. Her room was also packed with books and stuff...a bit too confined for my liking, but quite cosy too. Didn't know that she actually sleeps on a 'sofa'...  We did our work using 3 comp and couldn't finish even till 11.00 pm. The number of minutes required is too overwhelming liao. Bosen and Yingying left at 11.10 while I left shortly after, leaving a lot of work for Jieying to finish till next morning. Jieying's father agreed to fetch me to the MRT station and we chatted along the way...abt Jieying and her sister...hehe.

So unfortunate, by the time I reached the station, the gates had already been closed liao. (11.55pm) So I took a taxi back lor...I think there was extra charge... Got home pretty fast : )  but poor Jieying was still struggling with her minutes, content page and claim to fame. (I feel so bad leaving her with so much work) But it was too late to send anything to anyone and then send back again...furthermore she has our whole project in her computer.

Jieying didn't sleep for the whole night. When I reached school at 8am this morning, she was still rushing thru the claim to fame forms, at home. Other groups were already prepared to hand in liao...doing minor stuffs to refine the file. Waited until 10+  when Jieying finally arrived with everything printed. We quickly punched holes, filed in everything, paginated them and completed our claim to fame and contents page....until abt 11.20, 50 min past the submission time. Then we rushed to the meeting room and got our files checked and submitted....phew...da gong gao cheng! Thanks a lot to Chen Yu and Wenjia for giving us suggestions on how to increase work efficiency! Without their 'tips', our files might be already rejected by the teacher.

So PW is finally over, 7 months of hard work submitted for grading... I would just aim for Band 2 or 3 lah...not the best, also not the worst. We owe it a lot to Jieying, who really committed much of her time for PW despite her busy schedule. Anyway did you notice that all the group leaders were girls? Haha...flower power!

Time for me to rant abt PW. Next time when doing projects in university or anywhere, never never do with a PRC, esp those poor in English. I've learnt my lesson in a hard way. You see, my group has 5 ppl and guess what? 3 of them are PRCs and are in GP special class somemore! (more than half the group) Jieying and I have to carry the huge responsibility of editing all their drafts lor. Sometimes I really feel sian diao and dun want to edit anything and leave it up to them. They are also super inefficient lor. I think what I've done is equivalent to the total contributions of 3 of them. Bosen started off very slack, and then began to become more enthu towards the end...volunteering to write evaluations and churning countless article reviews, all at the last minute unfortunately. And ya...they are unattentive and unfocused during discussions....3 of them always talking abt China movies/dramas/songs/actors/actresses, which I'm least interested in. Most meeting time (esp during PW lessons) is wasted because of these unnecessary discussion which can be held during breaks or after lessons. Only when there are any extra meetings in breaks and after dismissal, they will try to keep focused. Furthermore they dun contribute much ideas during discussions and they'll just sit there waiting for ppl to assign tasks to them (which we usually dun cos they are so uncertain of what the project is abt...ask them to do also no use). It is always Jieying, me and occasionally Bosen, who are doing the talking.

Of course that's not the end to my ranting...what I wrote above is already counted very mild liao...I've thought of many more harsher words but I think I shall leave them to somewhere more private, like MSN. Gotta rush to watch all the shows I've recorded in the past few days. Didn't play Star Ocean ever since Saturday...sobz.

"If PW sucks and you know it, Clap your hands!" ...... *Deafening Applause*

7 November Sunday
Longest PW meeting
So long didn't blog liao...hopefully all of you are still visiting my blog often. I promised to blog on Saturday, but yesterday night I came home very late...too sleepy to type liao. So sry! ...anyway why I say sorry ah? This is my blog and I can blog whenever I like it...muhahaha!

Bet most of you are laughing at me now...for my OP isn't over yet. Nvm...3 more days before I can kiss PW 'goodbye' forever...no, it shld be 'getlost'. Had the longest PW meeting today...finalising our powerpoint, rehearsing speech and planning minutes for our entire course of PW this year. Our minutes are really really very screwed up. Just because of one wrong format, we have to redo all the minutes. Now the number of minutes we've to do have accumulated so much...so much until we've no choice but to crap them out cos we forgot what we discussed in the past liao. Actually it was only me and Jieying planning the minutes for the whole afternoon, but even with that, Jieying still have so much work to do abt the minutes. My speech still a bit the long leh...have to rush in order to get it under 5 min. Dunno why I got so much things to talk abt... Met in sch today, cos my house and Jieying's are too far apart, very inconvenient...furthermore the 3 PRCs stay in the boarding sch. Alighted at the hc bus stop, only to find that all the gates are locked, so I walked all the way to tchs front gate (near the pool) then back to hc again...chang tu ba she. But how stupid of me...why didn't I think of climbing over the gate? Maybe cos I'm a good boy lah...won't do this kind of tou ji mo gou stuff...skali got caught by security guard. Ya...the entire campus was so deserted...good for playing cards...lol.

Let's talk abt the outing yesterday. Met at City Hall MRT...it's always me, Zhaoyang and Zhe Han who are early, and Yong Feng and Jin Hin are always late. If I were to continue playing my star ocean for another 10 min, I'll be late liao. Then we went to...*oops what's the name of the restaurant?* (the Japanese style one)...for dinner, before settling down at the Sky Garden to play cards. First time being there...didn't know there is such a conducive place of card playing. Haha...actually that place is mainly for couples to pak tor one...so dim. Hope they dun find us very noisy... I'll go and play gooseberry next time. Didn't get to win the bid alot...either my hand is bad or when my hand is good, everyone has good hands too. I'm such a cautious bidder, unlike Zhe Han who feels obliged to bid something even though his hand cannot make it (ZH, dun be offended, k?).

ZH suggested a gathering at his home on Christmas Eve...will go only if there 4 ppl or more. Same goes for every outing...cos 4 is such an ideal number =P  How abt a KBox outing??? Hehe....
