| You can find so many pleasures, In just the simple things, In the beauty of the sunset, Or the joy the dawn can bring... In the wonder of all nature, When the song bird sings his tune, Or in the beauty of a summers' night, Beneath the bright full moon... Soft breezes blowing through your hair, Warm raindrops on your face, Just take the time and slow down, Don't make life such a race... We can not see the future, Nor can we change the past, We only have the present, And our days are going fast... So open up your eyes, View all we have been given, It's such a beautiful world, If we'd all start really livin'... If we'd share the love within our hearts, And keep a smile upon our face, Learn to laugh, Share a hug, The world would be a nicer place... Don't go through life looking for gold, Or riches beyond measure, Just take pride in the simple things, For that is life's sweetest treasures.. Written By: Theresa Hicks |
