| As I sit here in the quiet tranquil hours of the midnight, My thoughts reflect back on the times I have caused you hurt and pain, And inside of my heart I feel the aching need to make things right again, But I know there is nothing I can say to undo the things that have taken place.. I can only say that I truly regret all that has happened to break up such a wonderful friendship, And all I can do is hope that you can remember all of the good times spent and laughter we've shared, As well as all of the fun we had, And my wish is that one day you can find it in your heart to forgive me.. If I had the power to undo all that has taken place, I would instantly turn back the time to that moment, I know that I can never be perfect, But I can be more careful never to cause pain or hurt anymore, And never cause the people who means so much to me to slip away.. So for those who love me and for those who call me friend, I will always be kind and understanding, And will always be here to lend my heart, For I see that my today is all that I have, and I want to make it the best, And when I close my eyes in sleep, I can know my soul will rest...
