Raven and Nabu's Story
Raven and Nabu came to live with me back in August of 1998.  They were left outside, declawed & very thin.  A co-worker of mine had thought he found them a home but the lady decided she didn't want them anymore.  The guys were scheduled to got to the local Humane Society if I hadn't adopted them.  I got them while I was in college.  They were already fixed, so as a college student that definitely helped.

Over the years, the guys developed urinary tract problems.  But there has been a lot of research done on the problem since 1998, and they are doing well.

Yahoo! Cats With FLUTD Group was a great help.

Stimpy's Story
Stimpy is from the local Humane Society, where I worked at the time.  He was left at the doorstep, crammed in a carrier with another cat.  It turned out he was very ill upon arrival at the shelter.  He had a urinary tract blockage.  Stimpy spent 3 days at the vet clinic, and came back with medications and special food.

Stimpy spent 1 month at the shelter. I was trying to find a home for him with friends and family the whole time.  He is a great cat, but no one seemed interested in him.  After some convincing my husband agreed that a third cat would be a good addition to our household.  He has been a great addition to the family.  He is a clown & gets along with Raven and Nabu just great.  Stimpy has been a member of the family since March 1, 2002.
