| Elly's Begining Elly was only 27 weeks gestational age when she was born. Mom and Dad arrived in a hurry at the York hospital. It was decided that Elly could no longer live inside mommy so the doctors prepared for her birth. On August 4th at 4:17am, Elly Therese Pecher was born and the world rejoiced at her birth. THE NICU Since Elly was too little to be taken to the regular nursery, the specialists took her to a special room for preemie babies which is called the NICU. Here Elly was put on a ventilator to help her breathe and was given many medicines and monitored carefully to make sure that her tiny little body would be okay. Elly looks a little different than many babies because of all the tubes and machines around and on her but she is still as beautiful as all the babies in the world. Ell was at the NICU for 3 months. She was taken care of by dedicated nurses and doctors who did everything to make sure that was okay. It was a long and bumpy journey. Some days were good days for Elly and some days were bad days for her. She still needs your prayers to keep her going as she will face some difficult hurdles along her way to growth and health |

| Thank You For Your Prayers |

We would like to thank everyone who has been praying for Elly. Prayer is such a powerful weapon and it is also a sign of love. In prayer we find comfort, strength, faith and hope. During this difficult time, we have been so touched by the love that you have shown us. Love is a visible sign of our Father in Heaven. The love that you have show our little girl has left us with an immense feeling of the Love of God. We are truly all a family of God. Through your selfless prayers for the tiniest of God's daughters, you have revealed to us the tremendous love God has for us. Your love,suppor and prayer have given us the strength to continue on this emotional rollercoster as we Hope in Trust that our Little Elly will be healed of all her infirmities and continue to grow in health. We feel like the apostles who were in the boat during the storm. We want to run and cry and scream in fear of what seems like a terrible storm, however, we are strengthed by your prayers and are reminded of what Our Dear Lord said to the Apostles. What are we afraid of if we are with Christ? Where is our Faith? Yes, Jesus is with us in this storm and He will get us through it. He has given us such a loving spiritual family to help us through it. I thank God with all my heart for all of you and for your prayers which feed our souls with the grace to endure this storm. We will hold on to Jesus and we will be reminded to be at peace and be still and know that He is GOD. Thank you for your faith and strength and please continue to pray for Elly, our family, our parents, our brothers and sisters and all of our relatives who are also enduring this storm with us. |
