These are a few of the pictures from my first deer I have ever harvested. The story goes like this... It was a Sunday evening and I was getting tired of going out hunting for the past month and not getting anything. So when this button buck walked by me, I wasn't paying close attention. Luckily I saw him before he saw me. The buck was walking down a trail just 12 yards from me. I drew my bow while he was behind some brush so he wouldn't see me. Just as he stepped out into the opening, I released the string and the arrow went whizzing to his side. The arrow hit him near the lung area. He ran 50 yards and dropped. My grandpa and I took him home, field dressed him, and hung him up. The next day we got him checked in and we took him to the butcher shop. |
