These are a few of the pictures from my first deer I have ever harvested.
The story goes like this...
It was a Sunday evening and I was getting tired of going out hunting for the past month and not getting anything.  So when this button buck walked by me, I wasn't paying close attention.  Luckily I saw him before he saw me. The buck was walking down a trail just 12 yards from me.  I drew my bow while he was behind some brush so he wouldn't see me.  Just as he stepped out into the opening, I released the string and the arrow went whizzing to his side.  The arrow hit him near the lung area.  He ran 50 yards and dropped. My grandpa and I took him home, field dressed him, and hung him up.  The next day we got him checked in and we took him to the butcher shop.
This is when my grandpa and I found him.
This is when my grandpa and I are about to put him in the van.
This is my grandpa hanging him up.
This is when he's hung up.
This is the next day when we are about to get him checked in and taken to the butcher shop.
