| Like the Rain I stare up at my ceiling, listeing to the rain fall on the roof. Like all the tears I have cried for you... I look out my window, watching the snow softely blanket the ground Like you protected me from this world... I look at my walls, so blank, white, and confused. Like my face when you told me the bad news... I glance out of the car window at the sun, so full of joy, peach and enthusiasm. Like you made me feel for a brief moment... I stare at the floor so bare and empty, Like I feel right now knowing that I may never see your nice, warm, glowing face ever again... You pout me through so much pain, but helped me build character, And grow strong knowing that everything will be alright... -Kellee Barnes |
