In this world today you look around you
and you see murder and pain
Look a little closer and see broken homes,
money issues, and marriage problems.
In every strangers eyes you can see
That they live their lives in fear
And you can see it all too clear
If only they knew that the Lord is near.
But for me living in this world of hate,
I just close my eyes and remember my fate.
A world tomorrow that soon will be today.
It is only a day away.
My comforter is near and I will hold him dear.
Tomorrow will soon be today, and we will leave this evil age.
The King of kings will return and at last the world will learn
That who they needed was there all along,
And they were never alone.
