Singer/songwriter, Ashley Moffat, is no rookie to Canada's music scene. A native to southwestern Ontario, Miss Moffat toured the Windsor-Toronto circuit for several years promoting her E.P., "Midnight Messages"(1999).

Incredibly drawn to the Halifax music scene, Moffat packed up her VW Station Wagon
and migrated east in 2000. After one year, Little Miss Moffat put together the eye opening E.P. "Oh, come off it"(2001) with some local rockers. It was well-received and earned Moffat a place in the local music community.

A brand new release, "Miss Canada" will be available December 11th, 2003. This 10-song album was recorded by Charles Austin at Ultramagnetic Studios in Halifax.  It was co-produced by rock-god, Joel Plaskett and features Gabe Minnikin, Benn Ross, Joel Plaskett, Lukas Pearse, Mark Bragg, Dale Murray and Brent Randal. It has been a long-awaited, self-funded project that was recorded on 1" analogue. It has a warm sound that will make your heart melt.
