| Lorin E. Easterling, a student at Bonne Ecole Elementry School, died last week of strangulation in Eastern New Orleans. She was 11. Ms. Easterling was a life long resident of Slidell. Survivors include her father, Gerald T. Easterling, her mother Trina S. Easterling, her stepmother Wanda K. Easterling, and her grandparents Carol and James "Skip" Easterling of Picayune, Miss., Steve Hicks of Bellmont, Miss. and Dexter and Wanda Straw. A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church, 384 Robert Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemtery. |
