| Andre Bosse was abducted by a neighbor, Dean Metclaffe, a convicted pedophile. He confessed to raping and murdering Andre, saying that he shot her. Eyewitnesses later said that they saw him chasing her in his truck. He refused, however, to disclose were her body was. Metclaffe was sentenced. Andre's family and friends wrote "Andre's Law", which would make certain acts against children punishable by death. However, the death penalty is against Michigan state law, so the bill would have to go onto a state ballot. No other information is available at this time. Andre's remains were found on March 22, 2002, after nearly 5 years. |
