| Amy Breyer was just a few weeks shy of 3 when she was abducted from her trailer park home in July of 1991. Her parents awoke to find the screen to her bedroom window missing, as well as little Amy. Her body was found the next day. Kelly J. Coon, a man who had been relaeased from jail just a few hours earlier, had abducted the smiley little girl while she slept, took her to a nearby field, raped and murdered her. Coon had was on probation for raping a COW (yes i meant COW, as in the four-legged animal that milk comes from). He was charged with her muder and sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. The song below is a song written for Amy by her father. It is based on 2 songs he wrote, a lullaby for her written before her death, and one written for her baby sister after her death called "Memories of the Future." The song, "Amy's Song" is found on a rare cd, "Do You Know Me? Songs For Missing Children." |
| "Amy's Song" by Scott Breyer Baby so sweet Baby so soft You are the one that we love Cuddling, snuggling, very content What are your dreams, your feelings and thoughts? You made us one, your life's begun you are so wonderful to us. Where are you, what are you going to be? Your mom and I can't wait to see. It's time to sleep Once there was a little girl. She gave to mom and dad, a love that forever grows. She went to live with Jesus at the tender age of three. She'll always be remebered as forever Amy free. There is a time for healing, and a time to look back. Thank God in Heaven for all that you had. Now another one little one has been given a new life Caring love and tenderness will help things start just right With her mommy's eyes of blue and her daddy's hair of brown, she has a personality that is completely her own. There is a time for healing, and a time to look back. Thank God in Heaven for all that you had. Make each day real special, full od love and happiness. If you do this everyday, your life will be blessed. There is a time for healing and a time to look back. Thank God in Heaven for all that you had. |
