I don't particularly want to bore everyone with my professional biography, so I will instead offer a brief summary of my achievements. (To hear the songs I recorded with Very, click here.) 1998 - selected as lead singer of Krell Records girl group after a nation-wide search, and later offered a contract as a soloist. - top 10 finalist in Australian Songwriters' Association 1998 National Songwriting Contest in the 16 years and under category 1999 - joined Ritchie&Bitchy productions, run by early 90s pop sensation Nick Howard - selected for audition at Mushroom Records -top 10 finalist in Australian Songwriters' Association 1999 National Songwriting Contest in the categories of 'pop' and 'ballad' - runner-up in Smash Hits 'Search For A Star' competition, resulting in two articles, placed here and here. (I feel I should add that both of these articles misquote me ;)) 2000 - highly commended on The 10:30 Slot's 'Sign Me Up' segment. 2001 - in alternative-pop band Very. back |
