Audrina
Rachel Hills, 2000

Sitting all alone in your cacoon
Thinking about another year gone by
Knowing that you should be leaving soon
Feeling that you're too afraid to try
Crying about the things that you've missed out on
Wishing that you could go back again
Wondering just what has got you trapped here
Hoping that you'll see the sun again

But Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world
Out there with all the rugby boys and party girls
With vodka shots and cigarette and shoot-up rooms
It's inside her cacoon that all the flowers bloom
Just break away and the sun will follow
Do it today, don't wait til tomorrow
So much to say, when you're filled with sorrow let it out
And Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world

Everyone around you now is flying
But you're still alone in your cacoon
You claim you want to leave but you are lying
Or else you would have left now from your room
Watching all the petals fall around you
Trying to attach them all again
Windering just where you should set off to
Because you know you can't go back again

But Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world
Out there with all the rugby boys and party girls
With vodka shots and cigarette and shoot-up rooms
It's inside her cacoon that all the flowers bloom
Just break away and the sun will follow
Do it today, don't wait til tomorrow
So much to say, when you're filled with sorrow let it out
And Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world
Because Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world
No no Audrina doesn't like it in the outside world
