Fears

Blue mist fills the air, choking all in its path
You can not run from the demons
that live deep down in your heart.
No matter how you ignore them,
they will stab at your eyes
til you can not see anything
but their dark lies.
The black ebb of pupil,
if you look deep within
holds the fears of the soul,
crawling under the skin.
Empty Nothing Feelings

sadness falls like flakes of snow
and I try to catch them in my mouth
horrid taste of bitter regret
still I swallow and carry on without.

Crystal clear waves of tears
float through my mind and
numb my body,
empty feeling of nothing inside,
heart beating but not living,
bones holding skin with no self within.

Looking at stars with shining hope
give sweet comfort to this wretched soul.
One small seed of happiness may be sewn
and will one day bloom again.
