They were greeted by a warm welcome and a relieved noise, seeing that Harm was okay. Harm went back to talk to the guy he�d talk before and Mac was grabbed by Harriet and rushed to the kitchen. �Harriet!� �Really it�s true?!� Mac sighed and thought Oh my god it is.. �Yeah it is.. but don�t tell anyone yet!� �Aw.. alright� She smiled wide. �I just can�t believe it!� �Me neither� Mac didn�t believe it, she thought it was all a dream, if it was she found it very mean. What if she woke up and none of this were true? They talked for a while and it was getting late now. Guests started to leave. Little AJ was put to bed because he fell asleep on the couch. Harm searched for Mac and found her with Bud. �Mac are you coming?� �Yeah, I�ll just say goodbye to everyone� So she did and a few minutes later Harm drove them to her apartment. Mac closed the door. She looked a little unsure of what to do. �Mac if you don�t..� �No no it�s not that, I�m just not sure if I can allow myself to dream like this.� He wrapped his arms around her. �It�s no dream� he said as he turned her around and kissed her again. Slowly he started to unbutton her shirt and she did the same to him as they moved to her bedroom. Next morning, Mac woke up lying on Harms chest. With sleepy eyes she looked up at him. �Good morning,. You�ve been asleep almost all of the morning. I thought marines were trained to wake up early� �We are, and I�m sure sailors are too but I�d rather not on a free day� �Alright then you just wait right here, I�ll make you breakfast.� �No you really don�t have to I� �Ah..stay!� He laughed loudly and so did she. He got up and put some clothes on. She remembered every little detail of last night. It had been perfect. Everything about him was perfect, she thought. Harm was in the kitchen, he�d been there numerous times and knew exactly where to find everything. He made some toast, a little fruit, tea and other decorations. While he was making breakfast he thought about last night, he could hit himself. Why had he never done anything like that before, he should�ve done something about their situation long ago. He finished making breakfast and took it back to her bedroom. Meanwhile she had slipt into her underwear and a T-shirt. It doesn�t matter what she wears, she�s always so..so beautiful he thought. She ate like a tiger. �I didn�t know you were that hungry, I should have got you a Beltway Burger.� She laughed. �I�m starved� When they finished it they both took a shower, separately, both not sure why. Monday morning. Harm and Mac were both in the admiral�s office. �So major, how are things going?� �Fine sir� �And how about you commander?� �Excellent sir� �Work is going fine, not too much trouble with the cases..?� both answered simultaneous �No sir� �Good good. That�ll be all.� �Aye sir� Both turned and nearly bumped into each other. Chegwidden couldn�t have missed the way the commander gently used his hand to lead her in front of him. And he definitely hadn�t. His suspicions had been confirmed. �Something is going on with them.. Tiner! Come in here for a second� �You think the admiral suspects something?� �That surely wasn�t normal. Better be careful� A few weeks later. Mac had been suspected something, but she was sure of it now. Harm saw her enter her office and went after her. She looked very happy. But since he was busy he didn�t have much time to think about it. Through the day he had seen her, in a very good mood all the time and he became very curious. At the end of the day Harm was collecting his stuff and went to Mac�s office. �Hi, you almost ready to go?� �Uh�Yeah, got my stuff. What are we going to do?� he asked curiously. �Well you�re coming to dinner with me and then I�ll explain.� �Um..Mac I kinda had something planned for tonight� �W..What?� No I have to tell him this tonight I have to! �I eh..� He said �No, no please cancel it, this is very important, please Harm.� What should I do, this is very important to her.. maybe there�s still time after dinner for what I wanted to do. He was definitely confused. �Calm down, it�s alright. I�ll cancel it, we�ll go to dinner.� Relieved she looked up at him and they went away. Over the weeks they had been seeing each other frequently, they didn�t think much about the deal anymore because it felt so natural, not like a commitment or anything. It was right this way. �Here we are.� �This is where we are going to have dinner?� �It�s a special occasion� She said as they walked in and checked their coats. They sat down on a table and both ordered dinner. She didn�t say much during dinner, they just talked about work and everything. He was growing more curious every second but he didn�t want to push her. They both finished, the waiter took away their plates. �Alright Mac, if you don�t tell me what�s going on right now, you�re just being very mean.� She sighed. �Allright, you have no idea how hard it�s been to keep this a secret all day. Here goes��Harm�I�m pregnant.� His jaw practically dropped to the floor. His eyes widened and a broad smile came across his face. �Really!? Are you serious?� �Of course I am what do you think!� He got up from the chair and rushed towards her. She got up as well and he nearly killed her in a hug. A tear spilled from the corner of her eye and ran across her cheek. He looked at her and kissed it away. Then gently kissed her lips. Very distracted he ordered the waiter to bring the check, almost tipping him more than the food had cost. He just kept smiling. Mac could cry, this was something she�d hoped for, from the moment she met him, tho she kept pushing it away back then. When they were at Harm�s apartment he still couldn�t believe it. �Well there�s still time for what I had in mined, though I think I should have done it earlier.� She looked at him, her eyes told him she had no clue of what he was talking about. He went to the bedroom and got back. She was still standing there, he came closer and suddenly kneeled down in front of her. �I know we haven�t really talked about it, and I don�t recall we agreed to it in the deal, but.. Sarah�will you marry me?� She thought she was gonna faint, this was too much. �Harm don�t ever do this to me again� �I hope I won�t have to.� He said with a grin. �Yes Harm, I do. More than anything, I love you!� This time, even tears appeared in his eyes as he gently slid the ring down her finger. It was beautiful, silver with white diamonds and a little blue diamond in the middle. He got up and kissed her, first on her neck and then her lips. She put his arms around him and he put his around her. �I love you ninja girl� He whispered. �I love you too flyboy.� �So today we�ll tell everyone..� �God what are they gonna say..� �Are you gonna tell you�re pregnant?� �Yeah why not, better get it over with in one time right?� �Well they won�t kill you�I hope� �What about the admiral?� �He might, we�ll have to be extra careful� They arrived at the building. They walked in and at first they just started working, they decided to tell at lunchtime, because then their friends would be the only one in the building they guessed. Bud, Harriet, Gunny, Tiner, Chegwidden and a few others. Mac looked at her watch. She didn�t know why, she could tell that it was exactly 24 minutes till noon. She was very nervous. So was Harm, he was especially curious for the admiral�s reaction to all this. Mac try to work with her computer a bit but it was no use, she could hear the seconds counting in her head. Finally it was time and she got up to find Harm. Okay here we go, stop it you�re a marine! You�re trained for nervous situations aren�t you!? �Nothing like this..� �Hmm what did you say Mac?� �Harm there you are, nothing, just..are you ready?� �I don�t know, I guess so� They went outside, most people were there, some where in the kitchen but heard Harm ask for attention so they got there too. Chegwidden was curious. What�s all that about? He stepped out as well. �Everybody, we have something to tell you� Harriet�s face started to glow, she kinda had a feeling after what Mac had told her at AJ�s party. �This may come a little as a surprise, but� Major MacKenzie and I have decided to get married.� Jaw�s dropped, hustling got up from them, surprised and overwhelmed voices. �And..� She continued �I�m..happy..to tell you� that�. I�m pregnant� Congratulating voices and happy yells came from them. �Oh major MacKenzie!! I�m so happy for you!!� �Congratulations sir.� �Thanks Bud, Harriet. �Good job commander� Harm smiled at that when he saw Mac�s face, which after a few seconds broke into a laugh as well. �Major, commander, a word in my office please� The admiral said, showing no emotion. �Oh dear god here we go� both mumbled. �Sir?� �I take it you�re both fully aware of the consequences this may have in affecting your work here..?� �Yes sir, we won�t let it interfere at any level.� The admiral continued �Well not at any level, I�ve had some trouble with you because of the fact that you not always got on well with each other, I expect it to change.� �Of course sir.� �Congratulations commander, you too major. I am�very..happy for you� He now showed he truly was happy, they discovered they were now talking to Friend AJ, not admiral Chegwidden. �Thank you sir� �Dismissed.� �Aye sir� With wide smiles they both walked out of the office, he had his arm around her waist.
