Father's Day Cards - See photos of how ours came out
Instructions: Create a small sign for students to hold that says "I'm nuts about You". Use a piece of cardboard (or a cereal box) to cut out a frame any size wanted. Students paint frame color of choice and glue on inexpensive nuts and bolts (buy these at a hardware store). Take an individual picture of each child holding the sign and insert in their frame. Wrap and give to dad!
"Nuts and Bolts Wind Chime"
Instructions: Give each child a paint stick/stirrer (Walmart will give these out for free). Use fishing line to hang nuts and bolts from paint stick. Wrap carefully so as not to tangle the wind chime. Dad can hang it outside near or in the garage.
Give them a scented candle with a card signed by all students that reads "You lit up our year".
Buy canvas tote bags at Walmart. Use a fabric pen to write your school name on the bag and have each student put their handprint on the bag by dipping their hand in paint. The bag can be used for their future take-home projects supplies.
