A/N: THANK YOU THANK YOU TO THE TWO PPL, yes two WHO REVIEWED MY STORY I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!
Last time:
Be as that may since you are the 3 who knew where the stone was hidden, you, Link, and my daughter will search out the culprit Link who had been listening quietly suddenly stepped forward.
Your majesty, I know that we were going to have to get the stone back, but I thought that I would do it on my own. I wasnt aware I was going to have partners, he said
Nonsense Link of course you will it gets the job done faster, alright were done here. You two may go, he said pointing to the door, Link and Catherine left the throne room quietly.
******
In a few seconds a man holding a girl about 8 years old by the arm came through the door, he held a knife to her throat. The young girl was sniffling and looked ready to cry.
Now sister you wouldnt want me to have to kill off this pretty little thing now do you, all you have to do is simply agree to kill the king and we wont have any blood-shed this morning he said sweetly, Arden looked from the frighten little girl to her brother several times.
Alright she said her voice high, she then whispered with her head down Ill do it
Chapter Four Assassination?
Vulcan you sure shes going to do it? a guy with blond hair came up to him,
She will I know her but... Vulcan turned to look at him, Li would you gladly go and make sure, nothings wrong having a back up right? Li smirked and nodded disappearing out of the wooden hut.
******
Arden stepped onto a white platform; which was directly underneath the opening to the hole, it beamed her up (BEAM ME UP SCOTTY hehehehe I always wanted to say that) making her appear on the ground in Hyrule Field. She whistled and a red mare came running up to her, it nudged her in the nose which she gladly returned.
Come on Fiery lets go buddy, she whispered to her horse, and climbed onto her horse she kicked the horses right side and she galloped off.
******
Link was pacing his room, trying to figure out why this girl would want the stone, and where she could possibly have hid it.
I cant believe that Catherine is coming, Princess Zelda ok shes fine but Catherine. No offence to her, but if she cant hide something correctly how is she going to find it Link thought. This was going to be a fun trip.
******
Arden looked up at the castle, it was time.
Theres a banquet today to celebrate the 18th birthday of the princess, perfect time to do it and she walked into the castle.
******
The banquet was in full swing music poured out from a side band with instruments such as the harp and flute. Couples were on the dance floor dancing happily to the music it was a joyous occasion. The king sat on his throne with his queen beside him. Link entered the banquet wearing a green dress tunic with gold trimming and brown pants, he was meet by princess Zelda; who was wearing a flowing emerald green dress.
Look Link we match Zelda said in a high pitched voice Come on Link lets dance and she dragged him onto the dance floor.
******
Arden was leaning on the railing above the banquet, her hood up covering her face in shadow, she could see the whole room here it would be the perfect place. She raised a crossbow and set it on her shoulders after she loaded it with an arrow. She aimed it right at the king, then she spotted something out of the corner of her eye a small dagger aiming right for her head. She quickly pulled her head back the dagger stuck into the railing right beside her hand. She quickly lowered her crossbow and looked beside her, there stood a man she knew from the colony, Li.
So my brother sent you to do his dirty work huh? Well come on then if you not scared she said in a very cocky voice. Li enraged by this charged at her since he was such a big and bulky guy that Arden easily dodged him her cape flying behind her moving in perfect motion with her body movements. Charging again at her, she kicked him in the stomach hard enough to sent him crashing through the railing. Arden looked down where Li had crashed through the railing, he was hanging by a hand from falling to the floor, 30 feet below. The people in the banquet began to notice what was going on from the crash of the railing, pointing at them and whispering among themselves. Link squinted his eyes at the figure in the black that was standing over the man holding on for dear life, who was that?. He decided that getting a closer view would be best, he sprinted to the stairs to the landing. Zelda was so caught up in the spectualar that she didnt even notice Link leave. Arden smirked at Li and slowly toke her sword out from her scabbard pointing it directly a cm from his face.
Pleasedont let me fall please Li pleaded with Arden who frowned at the man.
Have some dignity she muttered to herself and turned sideways from him so she could still see him out of the corner of her eyes. The sight of the pathetic man made her make her descision she grabbed his hand that wasnt holding onto the ledge and started to pull him up. But as she pulled him fully up.
Thanks he said quickly and punched her across the face. She was then picked up by her neck and was slammed up against the wall. Her bottom lip was bleeding and she was losing oxygen fast, she would die if he didnt let go of her neck. Her eyes rolled into the back of her hand no pupils were visable, as her body went limp in Lis arms. He laughed triumphly, but Link spotted them and ran at Li. He gripped Lis hands and forced them off Ardens neck, who fell down onto the ground unconscious. Link turned to Li; a look of pure anger on his face, he raised his sword and ran at him. Link plunged it deep into Lis stomach before he could block it. Li feel down dead, crimson blood was dripping from his stomach creating a pool around him. Link stopped, turned and ran to Arden picked her up which made the hood fall of her face, revealing her face.
Its her he thought then ran back down the steps and ran with her still in his arms to the room of the palace doctor.
