| Chapter three: Evil or not so evil Chi stood there and watched the other two boys come back Yuusuke had introduced himself and the others to her except these two. I feel so stupid for thinking that just because Kuwabara said he knew about me that he might be one of those demons trying to kill me. The others must of thought I was a total dope when Yuusuke had to explain to me that he just meant that she was the new student every one has been talking about. Great going Chi thought to herself. "So you got Mr. Carasow for first period right?" asked Yuusuke. "Yes, how did you know that?" Chi answered. "They put all the new kids in his class. Hiei and Kurama are in his class too." "Oh is he a nice teacher?" "He's your average teacher that�s all." "Well we should get to class it's all most first period." Kayko said. "Ok see you guys later." Chi said as she started for her new class . "So how do we get to the classroom from here Kurama?" Chi asked. "Well�you see�that is-" "The Classroom is not ever the same we move around" Hiei lied. "Yeah problem is we were not listening when they said where it would be today." Kurama said smiling to her. "Oh�ok well my paper says it�s in room #2005. Here is room #2001 so we are close." Chi said cheerfully smiling at Kurama and Kurama returned the smile back to her. I can�t believe he�s flirting with her! Hiei thought. Hiei could not explain it but he felt hate boiling up inside him, sure he got annoyed with Kurama but he had not hated him in the least for years. All the same he felt like punching Kurama, but instead he just stared at him in confusion. Kurama almost fell over when he looked at Hiei. The look on his face was one Kurama had not seen him give towards him since they had become friends years before. It was pure hate, but what would make his friend so mad at him? I have to talk to him thought Kurama. Just seeing him like that is unsettling. They all walked in to the classroom together. The teacher looked up from his desk and sighed. "Come here, your three." He said. Chi gave Kurama a nervous look, and he shot her an encouraging smile. When they had gone up to stand in front of the class the teacher turned to the class and said. "We have three new students today Hiei, Kurama, and Chi. Well Hiei why don�t you tell us a little about yourself." He said. "I don�t like people or talking for that matter." Hiei said coldly. "Well�um how about you Kurama?" "Well I guess I just want to say I hope to get to know some of you and hope to make the best of things." Kurama said with a huge smile, that made all the girls giggle and whisper things like "He is so cute!" and "Did you see that smile?" Kurama blushed a little and smile at them again. "Well Chi how about you?" Hiei had been staring at Chi ever since the teacher had said they were new students too. He wanted to see how she would react. After all she knew someone was trying to kill her. It only makes sense that they have to find her and get along with her and what a better way to gain her trust then by acting like her classmates. What Hiei saw was that she was growing paler by the second and she was trembling too. "Um�Chi is there something you like to say to the class?" "I-I ha- I have to go" Chi said and dashed from the room. In a second Hiei was out in the hallway had passed her and had placed himself in front of her. Chi managed to stop about three inches in front of Hiei. She was shaking so hard he thought she might hurt herself. "Your one of them aren�t you? Well I won�t let you have the key." Chi said backing away. "You don�t understand" Hiei said frustrated. "Watch out!" He cried but it was too late she backed away so far she tripped over the railing. Hiei was there in an instant and grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her up. She was crying like mad and trembling all over. Hiei rapped his arms around her and let her cry on his shoulder. After about ten minuets she seemed to settle down. She broke away from him and stared. "Why didn�t you let me fall? I would have died and you would have gotten your key?" she asked still trembling slightly. "I told you don�t understand I'm not here to hurt you! I'm here to make sure no one else does!" "Your what?" "You heard me" he said helping her up. "But who sent you?" Chi asked. "My boss" Hiei said. "Now come on lets get you cleaned up." Hiei waited for Chi outside of the girl�s bathroom. He felt Kurama coming long before he came around the corner. "Found her I guess" he said looking at Hiei leaning against the girls room wall. "Yeah" Hiei said. Hiei noticed that Kurama had a very nervous look on. "Uh Hiei what�s going on?" "What do you mean?" Hiei said. "Well you�re upset at me and I not sure what I did." "I not upset at you ok" "But�you sure?" "Yeah I�m sure" "All right then." Chi came out of the bathroom and saw Hiei and Kurama waiting for her. "I guess we are all lucky we're new other wise we get killed for being this late to second period." She said and smiled at them both. Kayko was in there next class. It was pretty fun because they were playing a study game for a test. Chi, Hiei, and Kurama could not play because they were not there to learn the stuff on the test so Chi thought she write them a little note. Chi ripped out a page in her notebook and wrote�***hey what do you think of this school so far?*** Chi slipped the note in Kurama�s hand. Kurama looked at it for a sec. Then opened the note and read it. Kurama took out a pen and wrote ***It seems nice for a school but the teacher doesn't seem very happy. The kids are ok though. What do you think?*** Kurama handed the note back to her and she read it. ***It�s ok but I miss home a little*** She wrote, then she noticed that Hiei was giving her a wired look. Oh I didn�t write anything to him she thought. There flirting again aren�t they Hiei thought felling the hate boiling up inside him again. He was about to throw Kurama a nasty look when Chi slid a note under his nose . Hiei read it ***hey what do you think of this school so far?*** ***It seems nice for a school anyway but the teacher doesn't seem very happy. The kids are ok though. What do you think?*** ***It ok but I miss home a little*** ***Hey Hiei what do you think? Oh and thanks for before too, sorry I was such a baby*** Hiei reached over and took her pen and wrote ***I hate this school, all schools but about before it was no big deal, ok just don�t tell anyone I did that it will rune my reputation*** He handed her the note and watched her read it. When she was done she turn and gave him a huge smile that made Hiei�s head spin. Chi wrote something down and passed it to Hiei ***I won�t tell I promise. I guess you guys really aren�t so evil then huh?*** ***sorry about the small font no room!!!!**** |
