Empire Reborn

"Yavin 4? Come in Yavin 4. This is the Lady Luck requesting permission to land."

Han smiled and opened communication between the base and ship. "Come on in Lando. Now that we e all here we can start. Hurry on into the Grand Audience Chamber."

"Will do. I brought along Anja. She might be able to help out."

"Great. The more help we get the quicker we can find Luke."

"Ok. Lady Luck out."

Han closed the transmission and turned to look at his adopted niece, Tenel Ka. "You ready?"

She nodded. Ever since her adopted father, Luke Skywalker, had gone with Tieron to save his family she been more quiet than usual.

"Tenel Ka? Are you ok?"

"Yes. I fine. Let go get this search party organized."

"Yes princess."

"Please Han, don call me that."

"I know you don like it. Neither does Leia. You are still the Princess of Hapes."

"And I can return at anytime, I know. But right now I just Tenel Ka, ok?"

"Ok... Princess."

Tenel Ka glared at Han.

"Sorry Tenel Ka," Han said smiling.




Leia Organa Solo leaned over a map of the known galaxy with her three children by her side.

"Did anyone catch Tieron ship trajectory?" Jaina Solo asked.

"Here. The only reasonable answer is either Tatooine or Dantooine," Anakin, the youngest Solo, said.

"We l try both then. Lando can go to Tatooine, Mara Jade to Dantooine," Leia concluded.

"Good. Now do we have teams assembled?" Jaina asked.

"Lando and Mara are in charge of their own groups. We l stay here and wait for any word. Jacen, Jaina, Tenel Ka and Zekk are to continue to train the other Jedi. After we hear any news we l pull you four out to help us."

"Sounds like a plan to me mom. Ok let get to the meeting. Sooner we get started, sooner we can have Uncle Luke back," Jacen said. He smiled at his family and went out onto the Grand Audience Chamber stage to prepare for the assembly.


Anja walked back into the Jedi Temple on the arm of Lando Calrissian. She looked around and smiled.

Lando escorted her to the Grand Audience Chamber and took a seat in the front. Mara Jade took a seat on the bench across the isle from them with her computer genius friend Ghent.

Jacen Solo stepped out on the stage, followed by his sister, Jaina, younger brother, Anakin and mother Leia Organa Solo. They stood in a row, Leia in the middle.

Soon Han Solo, who stood next to his wife, Tenel Ka, the Princess of Hapes and Zekk, joined them. Jacen, Jaina and Zekk had on black cloaks, while Tenel Ka wore a new outfit of lizard hide armor she would war for presentations as a Jedi. Their lightsabers hung at their sides, ready for use. They paused as the rest of the Jedi trainees filed into the hall and took seats behind Lando and Mara Jade.

Leia stepped forward to address the crowd and a hush came over them all.

"We e called you before us not for a celebration of achievement as normally goes on at this time, but to ask for your help. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is missing. He gave his freedom so his family could live. A TIE pilot named Tieron has taken Master Skywalker as well as the royal family of Hapes, from us. You must all use your powers and skills to help us. We need to get out beloved Jedi Master back."

Leia withdrew and Jaina and Jacen stepped forward. She turned on the same map they were looking at earlier. Jaina went back to the line and Jacen stepped in from of the map. Three planets glowed red and Jacen started to speak.

"Coruscant Ground Control tracked Tieron trajectory. We e narrowed it down to Tatooine or Dantooine. Lando Calrissian will take a small team to Tatooine; Mara Jade will go to Dantooine. Do you have your teams assembled?"

"I have Anja Gallandro and Lobot. They e all I need. I ready," Lando said.

"I need one more person. I can work with Ghent but if you want me to have three..." Mara sentence trailed off.

wo is fine," Jacen told Mara. He nodded; shut off the map He stepped back into his place as Tenel Ka and Han stepped forward.

"None of us know how large Tieron following is. I didn get to see the whole process. Many Jedi trainees must accompany the Solo family my self and Zekk in order to stamp out the last of the Empire. You might loose your life in the fight. I regret this fact, but what if his cause grew? Think of all the other lives at stake. If you are willing to help, Han will help with weapons such as blasters and rifles, I will teach hand to hand combat. Zekk will help the trainees with their lightsabers, sharpening their skills and learning new ones. For my parents and Master Skywalker please we must fight." Tenel Ka looked at Han and he smiled softly. He turned to address the crowd.

"We urge you all to get involved. From the fighting to helping keep the academy running. We need all the help we can get. May the Force be with us."

Han and Tenel Ka returned to the line. There was a slight murmur as the crowd stood us and left the hall. Lando, Anja, Mara Jade and Ghent walked up to the stage to discuss the details of the search.

"So what now?" Lando asked.

"You for go off in search of Luke. Any sign contact us and give us some coordinates. We l head that way as soon as we get your work. Good luck," Han answered.

Lando saluted and Mara Jade turned then marched down the isle.


Tenel Ka walked slowly along the edge of the temple. She been there a while, thinking.

Tieron had caused her so much pain. He killed her family, beaten her, abused her, and now he taken away her beloved Master. She had to bring Tieron down, somehow.

She turned at the end of the temple and ran into Jacen.

"Hey," he said.

"Hello." Tenel Ka by passed around him. She really didn want to see anyone.

"You ok?" Jacen asked. He started to walk along side her.

"I fine."

"You e lying."

"So?"

"I hate to see you like this. Don think about revenge. I know he taken away your whole life..."

"Not just my life, my reason for living!"

"Don say that!"

"Why?!"

Jacen reached down and took Tenel Ka lightsaber. "You are not killing yourself."

Tenel Ka turned away and looked out over the flag stone courtyard. Jacen cane forward and wrapped his arms around her. "You e not jumping without me."

"I not jumping."

"Good." Jacen laid her head on her shoulder. "I sure Uncle Luke is ok."

"He is. I don want to loose him to. I can I loose him!"

"The whole galaxy can loose him. Come back inside with me. We can get a drink and talk."

Jacen took Tenel Ka hand and led her back into the Jedi Temple.

Jaina took a seat next to her mother and looked at the map Leia was marking. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

"So all we can do it wait?" she asked rhetorically.

Leia put a hand on her shoulder. "Why don you get some rest?"

"You should take your own advice. You don look so good." I don feel so good. As soon as I done with marking locations on this map I l check in with Coruscant to see if the galaxy is in order. After that I l try to rest."

"Good I going to bed. I l see you in the morning."

"Night sweetie."

"Night mom."

Jaina hugged her mother and went to her bedroom to rest.




Luke Skywalker looked around the dimly lit room. He been with Tieron for two months now and still didn know what his captor wanted.

David, the guard who promised to take care of him, was keeping him updated on the current situation. He didn know what was to happen to Luke.

Luke now set on the edge of his bed, thinking. Ysalamiri had been placed around his room to dispel his Force powers. He couldn contact Leia, or the twins. He couldn reach out for his adopted daughter, Tenel Ka, who lost so much to Tieron, to tell her he was alright, and not to worry. He sighed and looked at the wall chronometer. It was all most time for David to come with his food and news of the day.

As if on cue, the door slid open and David walked in with a tray of food. He sat the tray down and took off his helmet.

"Hey Luke," he said.

"Hello David. How was today?"

"It been a hard day. Tieron is gearing up for a battle with the New Republic. He had all the guards in training. I think this attack is gonna be huge."

"What make you think that?"

"Well, there a lot more guards and troopers in training now a days."

"What use does he have for me?"

"I guessing it a Joruus C Boath thing."

"I won cooperate."

"I know. He l kill you then."

"He can try David. Don worry about it."

"I l try not to. I should go. See you tomorrow."

"Same time?"

"Yes."

"Take care."

"You to."

David turned and left Luke alone again with his thoughts.




Jacen handed Tenel Ka a drink and then grabbed one for himself.

"Where do you want to sit?" Jacen asked.

"I don care," Tenel Ka answered. She lost that spark in her voice.

Jacen took her by the hand and led her down to his room. "We can talk freely here. Have a seat." Jacen locked the door and sat down on his bed. His pet Nicta leaped onto his shoulder and chirped at him. Jacen petted the furball and turned to Tenel Ka.

"Talk," he said.

"I e told you everything, Jacen. I don know what else to say."

Jacen scooted closer to Tenel Ka and put his arm around her shoulder. Tenel Ka chin fell to her chest and she stared into her drink. "It ok to cry now Ten."

Jacen put his hand under her chin and gently pulled her face up. Tears were streaming down her face into her cup. He used his free hand to wipe the tears away. "Don you feel better?"

Tenel Ka wrapped her arm around Jacen neck and cried harder.

"I hate him," she whispered.

Jacen put his arms around her waist and pulled her close. "I know. I understand. I really do."

"I know you understand, or at least try to. I just don know what to do."

"First don give into your hate. That only leads to the Darkside. Second clear you head. We need you. You need to train the others. We need you Tenel Ka."

Tenel Ka looked Jacen deep in his eyes.

"Promise?" Jacen asked.

Tenel Ka nodded softly. "Promise."

Jacen leaned in closer and softly kissed Tenel Ka on the lips. "You gonna be ok alone?"

"No." Tenel Ka laid her head on Jacen shoulder.

"You can stay here tonight. I l sleep on the floor."

"I wouldn want that. I l go back to my room." Tenel Ka petted Nicta and moved to stand. Jacen grabbed her waist and pulled her back down toward him. He held her close and kissed her again.

"You know I love you, don you?" Jacen asked.

Tenel Ka snuggled in closer to Jacen. "I love you to," her voice trailed off as she fell asleep.

Jacen laid her down and covered her up. He kissed her cheek and started to fix himself a bed.


Lando looked out the viewport at the vast planet, Tatooine.

"Sure is a lot of sand," Anja said. She pushed a button just off her right arm and watched the data on the planet scroll by. "So where we start?"

"Mos Eisley. It the best place."

"I l go get ready." Anja turned and left the cockpit.

"You ready Lobot?"

Lando android partner nodded.

"Good. Let set her down and get this search started."

"I know Luke isn here. I can feel it. They shoulda sent me to Tatooine."

"Mara calm down we can do a quick scan, both with computer and your talents, see what we get and report back. If there nothing we tell m that. Maybe then we can go to Tatooine."

"I don wanna go now! It would be useless. I sure Lando can take care of himself."

"Yeah sure. If that Tenel Ka chick always like that?"

"Like what?"

"So morose. Looks likes she has no sense of humor."

"Yeah. She a little different ever since Luke gone missing. This while Tieron thing has really thrown her for a loop. He raped her a few months ago. Then he killed her family. Blew the whole palace up. Then he took away Jacen Solo."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"They e in love Ghent."

"Oh. They are?"

"Yes. They might not show it but they are. I just know."

"Oh. Ok."

"Anyway. Now Tieron has taken away her adopted father. Tenel Ka has a debt to pay. We have to back her up but she has to settle this herself."

"Yeah. This Tieron guy is a total creep."

"He is. Creep isn the word I would use but it fits. Let do a flyby scan for settlements."

"Sure thing. I highly doubt there will be any thing of significance.

"Me right. Let try though."

Ghent turned on the scanners. Mara took their ship in low and started flying over Dantooine surface.




3 Days Later

Jaina awoke in the middle of the night. Her alarm was going off telling her to wake up. She shut it off and rolled over. It was her turn to watch the communication room. Who up there now? She asked herself. She rolled out of bed and pulled a tee shirt on over her top, pulled on some shorts and socks. "I hate this," she mumbled as she left her room, dragging her book and binder of paper she used as a journal behind her.

The lights in the comm room were terribly bright to Jaina eyes. She turned the dimmers on and smiled.

"Hello Jaina. Just wake up?" a female voice asked.

Jaina rubbed her eyes clear and smiled. "Hey Tenel Ka. Sorry I late. If I know you were..."

"It ok."

"You just have been pulling more that your fair share of weight around here."

"It ok Jaina, really. If you wanna go back to bed I l stay here."

"No you need rest. Since Luke left you e have a totally of what 40 hours of sleep?"

"37 hours. It ok Jaina."

"No go to bed. I l take over here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Sleep in. I l get Jacen or Zekk to bring you breakfast."

"You sure? But my classes..."

"Jacen well teach them. You need a day off. Now go!"

"If you sure..."

"Go! Silly. We don want a tiered warrior now do we."

I guess now. See you later."

"See you Tenel Ka. Get some rest!"

Jaina sat down in a chair and opened her book.




After a few hours Tenel Ka returned. She didn look rested. In fact she looked like she gone for a run.

"What are you doing back here?" Jaina asked.

"I couldn sleep. I fell like someone will try to contact us soon."

"Who?"

"I don know."

"Have a seat. We l wait. Then you get some rest!"

"Good." Tenel Ka sighed and sat down.

"I know you missed him. I miss him to," Jaina said.

"It not just Luke. He took my whole family. My life."

"And something else. I not gonna pry. There something you e not telling us. I know."

Tenel Ka rubber her temples. She looked at the control panel. A tear rolled down her cheek and fell on a key. Jaina rolled her chair closer to Tenel Ka and hugged her friend.

"He raped me. There wasn a thing I could do. The Force couldn help. I couldn fight. Nothing.

Jaina gasped. "Ok Ten! I so sorry."

"It ok. I really want this guy. I want to be the one to kill him. Me, no one else."

"I understand. I l be right there to back you up. Don worry we l help you."

There was a small beep and Jaina rolled over to open communications. Tenel Ka composed herself and stood by Jaina. Lando face popped up on the screen.

"Morning. Sorry to call you so early," ha said.

"It ok. What up?" Jaina said.

"I think we found m. Mara Jade finished her search and came to help us."

"Great!" Yeah. I l send you the locating now."

"Thanks. We l be there in a few days."

"Great. Se you in a few days."

Jaina printed the location out and shit the link off. "Let go assemble a strike force. We e gonna get Uncle Luke back!"


Tenel Ka rolled over in the small bed in the Shadow Chaser. She opened her eyes and Jacen smiled at her.

"Jaina told me you were back here," Jacen said.

"We there yet?"

"We haven even left. Jaina is taking the Rock Dragon. Zekk taking the Shadow Chaser. Our teams are loading gear right now. You ok?"

"Yes. I just needed rest."

"Ok. I gonna go help. You rest some more."

"I will."

Jacen leaned down and kissed Tenel Ka forehead and left. Tenel Ka sat up and ran her hands through her hair. She pulled her boots on. It was time to help again. Against her friend wished she had to keep helping.

She walked down the ramp. "Jenica! What can I do to help?" she asked a trainee.

"That pile of supplies needs to be loaded."

"Thanks." Tenel Ka picked up a box and started to load supplies.

2 Days Later



"So you e scouted this place out?" Jacen asked.

"Ghent hacked their files. Nothing on Luke. Anja should be returning soon with more information," Lando said.

"Good."

"Your strike teams ready?" Mara asked.

"Tenel Ka and Zekk are prepping them right now," Jaina answered.

"Good. I l go talk to them to." Mara Jade turned and left. Anja passed her in the door.

"What up?" Jacen asked.

"It your guy all right. No one knows the plan for Master Skywalker though."

"Ok. So what the protection situation?" Lando asked.

"It not as tight as I first though. We can get in with little trouble. Luke being held tightly."

"Ok."

"We should strike soon. They e planning something big."

"Thanks Anja."

"No prob." Anja smiled then left the room.

"Let go info the troops," Jacen said.


2 Days Later

"We e coming up on the location. Get ready guys," Jaina said.

Tenel Ka moved the weight from her pack around and pulled her blaster and lightsaber out. She stood up at full height. "Let go!"

The group of Jedi trainees, friends, family and New Republic guards charged forward, toward Tieron hideout.




Tenel Ka looked around the vast storage room in Tieron bunker. Weapon crates were stacked s of the way to the ceiling. Small transports for strike teams of their own and personal transports lines two walls and were three deep. Guards were charging toward them from a small door on the far end.

"Let fight!" someone yelled.

Tenel Ka dropped to one knee and drew her blaster. She grabbed her lightsaber with her other hand and deflected shots. She took aim at one guard and struck him down with one shot.

Jacen took his position next to Tenel Ka. "You know where Tieron is?" he asked.

"No. I gonna go find him. Good luck here."

Tenel Ka stood up and charged through the firing guards.

"Tenel Ka! No! Come back!" Jacen screamed above the blaster fire.

Jaina turned to watch Tenel Ka. Her eyes went wide as her friend was deeply grazed in the arm by a blaster shot. Tenel Ka kept running. Jacen shot the man and ran after Tenel Ka. She disappeared behind a door, locking it after her. Jacen cursed and slammed both fists against the door. He tried shooting the lock off but the shot just came flying back at him. He left his lightsaber with a trainee. He sunk down against the door and waited for Tenel Ka return.




Tenel Ka paused at a corner and felt around for anyone presence. When she found no one she paused to take care of her wound. She took a piece of gauze out from the med-kit she had at her waist. She applied pressure to her upper right arm. Then she pulled out some tape and taped the gauze before continuing on.

She had to find Tieron. He knew they were here. Knew se was here. She had to get to him first. She had a debt to settler with him.

Tenel Ka turned the corner and found a set of large double doors at the end of the hallway. Must be Tieron office.

She took her blaster out and approached the doors. She stretched out through the Force to locate Tieron exact position. Tieron was alone. He had a lightsaber and a blaster and was unaware of her close presence. He was watching the battle, back turned to the doors, at his desk. She pressed her back against the door and took a deep breath. She had to think. She had this all planned out but the entire plan was gone. She couldn think, but she had to. Tenel Ka readied herself then stepped back from the door. She brought her leg up and kicked the large door open.

Tieron was now standing just inside the door. He seemed to be ready for her.

"Little Princess. Come back to rule with me?" he asked.

"No I e come to kill you," Tenel Ka answered.

"Oh really?" Tieron threw his head back and started laughing. "You can try little Princess."

"I will. Fasten your seat belts boys and girls, cause here comes trouble."

Tenel Ka reholstered her blaster and drew her lightsaber from her belt. Tieron pulled his own lightsaber from under her robes.

"Let get it on Princess."

Tieron was the first to ignite her saber. The pale red beam slowly sprang to life. Tenel Ka own weapon buzzed in her hand moments later.

"You won win," Tieron said.

"What make you think so sure?"

"You e weak. And I have you beloved Jedi Master as a pawn in the game."

"I will not let you harm Luke!"

Tenel Ka charged at Tieron. He blocked every shot with ease. She drove him toward a wall.

"You should know not to corner an animal. They l just get scared and attack.

Tieron took the offensive and drove the fight back into the middle of the room. Tenel Ka fending off the attack but her movements were slower that normal.

"You seem tiered Princess. Not much sleep?" Tieron asked.

Tenel Ka dances back a few steps and held her saber by her waist. "Why should I tell you?"

"You don have to tel me. I can see it in your eyes. This isn gonna be hard at all."

He charged at the warrior woman. Tenel Ka raised weapon to block. The blow was almost too much. She sank down to her knees.

"You will be mine Princess.

"I hate you so much right now," was the last thing that went through her mind as fatigue overtook her and drifted into unconsciousness.

When the battle in the storage room was over Jaina and Zekk ran over to meet Jacen.

"Where Tenel Ka?" Jaina asked.

"Gone. She left me alone. Gone to fin Tieron, alone," Jacen answered.

Jaina slammed her foot on the ground. "She won make it. She to tiered. Move Jacen."

"I e tried to shoot the door. It won work," Jacen pointed out.

"Where your lightsaber?"

"A trainee has it."

Jaina pulled her saber off her belt and ignited it. "Then we l use mine." She cut into the door and cut the lock off. "Let go."

Jacen ran through the door first followed by Jaina and Zekk.

"This was. I e hooked onto her. She down. Oh, Tenel Ka hold on!" Zekk said. He took the lead and turned down the hall way with Tieron office at the end. The doors were still open.

Jacen sped up and ran through the large doorway. Tenel Ka was wrapped in Tieron arms off the left. Jacen eyes went wide as he watched Tieron lean down and deeply kiss Tenel Ka. He looked p and smiled at Jacen.

"She mine now boy. Forget about her. Move on."

Jacen set his jaw. "No. She mine Tieron. Give her back."

"You l have to right me for her."

"Bring it on!"

Tieron laid Tenel Ka down and stood up. He pulled his lightsaber off his belt. "Let do it!"

"Get away from Tenel Ka first."

Tieron stepped away from Tenel Ka and took a few steps toward Jacen. "Now?"

"Now."

Tieron ignited his lightsaber. A feral grin spread across his face. "You won win."

"Then I l die fighting." Jacen pulled his blaster out.

"Jacen! Catch!" Zekk called out. Zekk tossed his lightsaber at Jacen and ran over to Tenel Ka.

"Get away from her boy!" Tieron ordered. He twitched his fingers at Zekk and Zekk collapsed.

"What did you do to him?" Jaina screamed. She ran over to Zekk. "You ok?"

"No. He broke my leg. Take care of Tenel Ka," Zekk groaned.

"Keep away from the girl. She mine."

Jaina stopped in her tracks. "Tenel Ka! Wake up!" she called. "TENEL KA!"

"Tenel Ka we need you," Zekk half whispered, half thought.

"Ten! Please!" Jacen screamed.

Tieron turned back to Jacen. "Hush boy!"

"No!"

"I e had it. You die NOW!"

Jacen ignited Zekk lightsaber and stood ready for Tieron. "Let go."

Tieron started to attack Jacen. Jacen blocked the older man blows. They cam down like driving rain. After five minutes they were both sweating and breathing heavily. Tieron drove Jacen toward his desk. He pinned him there.

"Ready to die?" Tieron asked.

Jacen set his jaw. "Ask yourself that question."

Tieron smiled. He brought his lightsaber down to his waist. His smile grew and he proceeded to cut Jacen leg off just below his knee. Jacen screamed and fell to the ground. Tieron turned his lightsaber off and started to laugh.

Tenel Ka please wake up. I need you. Please. You e the only one who can finish off Tieron, Jacen thought.

At that moment Tenel Ka eyes snapped open. She sat up and looked toward Jacen. Her eyes opened wider and she rushed to Jacen side.

"I sorry. I so sorry about all of this." She said.

Jacen held Tenel Ka. "It ok. I love you. I love you so much. Please fight for us."

"Us?"

"Tieron broke Zekk leg. Finish him off."

"I will." Tenel Ka kissed Jacen cheek. "I will." She stood up and faced Tieron.

"Welcome back Princess. You ready to be mine yet?"

"You will DIE!" Tenel Ka screamed. She brought her hands down to her right hip. She continued to scream and gather energy. "Prepare to suffer Tieron!"

Tenel Ka tossed her hands toward Tieron and a large bluish ball of energy emerged from her hands. The energy ball flew toward Tieron. His eyes went wide and he dropped his lightsaber to try to defend himself. The ball hit Tieron and exploded.

It took the smoke three minutes to clear before Tenel Ka saw Tieron, lying on the floor, bleeding from his eyes and mouth. He wasn moving. Tenel Ka picked up Jacen blaster and walked over to Tieron body.

"For my mother, father, grandmother, friends, Jacen and Zekk," Tenel Ka said. Every time she mentioned someone she shot Tieron. "And for me!" Tenel picked up Tieron lightsaber and cut his head off. She turned the weapon off and threw it down. She took a deep breath and spun to face Jacen, Jaina and Zekk. "Let find Luke and get out of here."


Luke looked toward the door. He heard a noise outside. The door slid open and Tenel Ka rushed in.

"Tenel Ka?" Luke asked in amazement. He stood up and smiled.

Tenel Ka rushed forward and hugged Luke. Luke hugged his adopted daughter hard. She started crying and wouldn let go.

"I love you... father," Tenel Ka said.

"I love you to. Let go home ok?"

"Tieron gone. Dead. We don have to hurry."

Luke smiled. "I proud of you."

Tenel Ka smiled back. "Let go."

Luke took Tenel Ka hand and led her to the ship.


5 Days Later



Tenel Ka rolled out of her bed, pulled on her robe and headed toward the med-bay. It was her turn to check on Jacen. He was having a prosthetic leg attached later that day. Right now he was in a bacta tank. Zekk had a cast on his leg which was healing quickly thanks to Jaina using the force to heal it.

"Morning Jacen. Hello Zekk. How your leg?" Tenel Ka asked as she walked through the door.

"I get the cast off today. You feeling ok?" Zekk answered.

"Yeah. Better than I have been. At least I can talk to Jacen later."

"That right. We;; I gonna head to the communications room and send Peckum a message. Then I turning in for a while."

"Ok. See you later."

"See you."

Zekk smiled then left the room. Tenel Ka walked over to the bacta tank. "I love you Jacen."

Suddenly Jaina burst in the room. "Tenel Ka we need you in the comm room now! Come on hurry up!"

Tenel Ka looked at Jaina. "Why?"

"Mother? Father?" Tenel Ka said.

"But... how?"

"Someone saw Tieron ship land. They warned us so we left. We e safe. Don worry," Isolder said.

"Why not tell me?"

"I didn want to risk Tieron finding us. Are you guys ok?"

"Depends on your definition of ok. Zekk has a broken leg. Tieron cuts Jacen lower leg off. We can talk about me later."

"Better than I thought. How Jacen now?"

"In a bacta tank. We e giving him a prosthetic later today."

"Good. Howa bout when you e finished you and your friends visit Hapes. You need a vacation. We l head to the Reef Fortress."

Tenel Ka looked at Jaina, then Zekk the to her parents. She smiled softly. "Yes." It sounds wonderful."

Jaina put her arm around Tenel Ka shoulder. Zekk put his on the other side. "We e been through a lot the past few months," Jaina said.

"And the healing is just beginning," Zekk pointed out.
