ditties: 05.27.01- The Soundtrack to this Conservative Talk Show Does Not Contain Any Racial Slurs (Nor Minorities)
As a teenager in Medford, Oregon, I worked as a board operator for a conservative talk radio network that surprisingly was located in the tiny, neighboring town of Central Point, Oregon. I'll say nothing about how wide my eyes were at the viewpoints I've come to properly digest (but perhaps not embrace) in the four or five years I worked there. Or how the some of the lovely people there are still my friends, and how some of the awful people there taught me about the capabilities of my fellow human beings that I will never forget.
But the bumper music was pretty good. I have to thank the famous and fantabulous Alan Corbeth and the lovely Daylani Conrad for that. And of course, the Regular Guy himself, for not being a total asshole all of the time, and actually being pretty sweet, despite his psycho callers, of which more than a few actually threatened my life.
