Kohana is the youngest character attending Little Burirn Jr. High in White City. When Kohana was born a strange being which is still unknown passed on a specail gift to her that by the age of 13 she be able to speak Pokemon and understand them. Giovanni (her uncle) was the only witness to see it happen and wants her on Team Rocket before she reaches 13. Jessie and James were given the mission to capture her and bring her in. Kohana's childhood wasn't the best at all, being brought up in an foster home and sent to Pokemon Tech. at the age 9, there she felt left out until she meet her two best friends: Lily and Kitty (They're sisters). And also befriends Sasha. Later she meet a young boy who goes by the name of Shadow and soon befriended him. Jessie and James are always around to snacth her at the right time, she can always rely on her best friends, Ekie, an Ekans and her other Pokemon come to her rescue.
