Grizzabella is one of the older queens but she is special to the plot of Cats. Sometime in the past she decided to leave the tribe to explore the outside world knowing that the consiquence was that she would not be accepted back into the tribe. But after life's wear and tear she trys to return to the jellicles once again but is shund by those who remember what she did all those years ago. There does seem to be one queen that is more affectionate than the others twards her, and that is Demeter. When Demeter sings about Grizzabella it doesn't have the hateful or repulsed tone that the other cats have, I wonder why this is? The kittens also seem to accept her from the beginning espesially Jemima who gives Grizzabella strength when she believes that she can't go on, and Victoria who is the first one to touch Grizzabella finally accepting her back into the tribe. |
