Michael was an incredable young man who raised over $50,000 for cancer research while he was battling it himself. Dignosed with Hodgkin's when he was nine, Michael spent six years of his presious life fighting off the illness, while at the same time raising funds and acting in an MTV series. Michael was a member of the mock boy vocal group 2gether (seen on homepage), and produced two albums and a movie with his friends, Evan Farmer, Alex Solowitz, Noah Bastian and Kevin Farley. The last season, Michael's part in the series was cut down to accomate to his illness, and he filmed some scenes with the help on an oxygan tank. Then, eight days after this wonderful young man turned 16, his lung's gave out in his sleep, and he died in British Columbia's Childrens hospital with his family around him.
Michael did so much more in his short life then most of us would dream of in eighty years. Donating/raising money, performing music, and just being a regular guy in 16 short years. We, the people of the world, need to keep Michael's dream alive, and fight to find a cure. Michael used to say, "I'm not leaving until there's a cure, and I'll do whatever it takes to find one." Myself...I know Michael is still here, in spirit. And I know he's not leaving until there is a cure. We need to fight to make Michael's dream come true. He was such an extroidinary person, and we need more people like him in this world. Whenever in doubt, remember his words:

God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be
So He closed his arms around you
and whispered "Come with me"
Your smile is gone forever
Your hand we cannot touch
All we have is memories
Of one we loved so much
He took you to his garden
And laid you there to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
