| I was browsing the stories in fanfication.net, and I came across this song a girl had written for the actor, Michael Cuccione. In case you haven't gotten a chance to visit his homepage in our links section, or read his book, Michael was a 16 year old actor who died just this past January (Jan. 13th, 2001), eight days after his 16th birthday. Michael had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease when he was nine years old, a type of cancer that effects the lymph nodes. Before he died, he set up the Michael Cuccione foundation, which gives money for cancer research to British Columbia's Children's Hospital, where Michael was treated. Anyway, this is a song the girl wrote for Michael to express her feeling for him, and it was so touching, I wanted to post it. ~Anja |
| Every day passes by But at night I wonder why You left us Thought you'd be there 'till the end Will we meet again, my friend? Well, only that the time will tell us I'd give anything to say That you could spend just one more day And live it here, now, with us If you knew How much I love you If you knew how much I really cared If you knew How long I've missed you If only you knew How I wished you were here With me Sometimes I wonder How different I would be If you were still here with us Only if, boy you could see What you really mean to me That would set me free If you knew How much I love you If you knew How much I really care If you knew How long I've missed you If only you knew How I wish that you were here With me |
