Chapter 1

The First Meeting

                “Mommy… mommy, come find me.” A young girl called. The girl ran behind a bush and darted out of sight. Up ahead, a young boy looked down. His red kimono was doted by the shadows of the tree’s leaves. His yellow eyes and white hair shined in the little sunlight. He lifts his hand and points to a path up ahead. He has a smile on his face. A woman runs to a clearing to see a girl in white disappear.

                Gasping, Kagome wakes up from her dream. She holds her head, trying to recall her dream. Kagome gets up and looks around her. “I feel strange. Something about that dream, felt real.” She said.

                A sudden movement caught Kagome’s eye. She turned to see a yellowish glow. Kagome screamed as it circled her head.

                From behind her, she heard several footsteps. Inu Yasha came to a sudden halt beside her. He had his sword drawn. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo shortly followed behind him.

                “What’s wrong Kagome?” Inu Yasha asked.

                Kagome looked up at him. “There was some sort of demon. It circled my head and flew off above the trees their.” Kagome said.

                Inu Yasha’s ears began to move as he picked up a low sound. “Come!” He barked. He grabbed Kagome’s arm and began to pull her into the forest. “Sango, you and the others stay there. We’ll be right back.” Inu Yasha called.

                Soon, Kagome began to hear a high-pitched crying sound. They came to a clearing that had a small shallow lake. On the lake sat a small girl. Kagome got out of Inu Yasha’s grip.

                “Kagome, wait.” Inu Yasha said standing there with his sword over his shoulder.

                “It’s like I know who she is.” Kagome said.

                “What do you mean, she!” Inu Yasha said.

                “It is a she. I think I’ve seen her before. Somewhere, but I can’t remember where.” Kagome said as she walked over to the girl, she gasped. “Inu Yasha, come over here, quick!”

                “What is it?” He asked as he walked over to where Kagome was standing. Inu Yasha also gasped as he seen the little girl. “She, she looks like me!” Inu Yasha said shockingly.
