quickly wiping out the 'invaders'. Triskellious lead his forces against
the Ascian citadel, but fell in battle, as did half of his forces. His
adopted son, Guilotine wasthere, and quickly ordered for a full scale
retreat, stepping up to the plate of commander. Following the retreate
he quickly remasses the troops and sends in spies into the Ascian
citadel. Learning that a majority of the Ascians have grown upset with
Solnas Zodo, and the Xenolytes.
Using that information he begins turning them against each other
before he leads an attack forces of only 100 men against the Citadel.
Due to the Ascian disconcent the only enemy to fight soon became
the Xenolytes and Solnas Zodo. Using the holy sword Ithalmar, the
Redeemer, he quickly seperated the vile being from the aged king, and
sealed him back within the Oracle. Shortly following Solnas and
Guilotine sign a cease fire peace treaty ending the war. As terms of
the treaty the Ascians were to seclude themselves within the
mountains and guard the citadel, but never to enter it again.
20 A.Z. ~ Guilotine gathered the surving people and massed them around the
mouth of the Hydra River and founded the Empire of Asteria. He
wrote and passed the Laws of Guilotine which would become the
benchmark rom which all laws will be writen, and from which the
Church of Mogen David was founded. He also mysteriously came to
father a son, which he named Maelstrom. Having no wife, and no
desire in women, it was soon belived that Guilotine was indeed the
Mogen David and that he simply created his offspring.
40 A.Z. ~ When Maelstrom reached the age of twenty, Guilotine crowned
him emperor of Asteria. However Honthgarde, the High Magistrate of
Asteria, disapproved wanting proof that Maelstrom was legitmately
the heir to the throne. For his actions, Guilotine exiled him, and he
and 1/4 of the population migrated to south of the Lower Crab River,
where they founded the Celistial Kingdom, under the belief that the
true Mogen would exhonerate this land. Guilotine took a pilgrimage up
the Crytal Mountains, from which he never returned.
