The Little Beaver Lions Student of the Month programs recognize
students from the Northwestern Primary School and the Blackhawk High School District during the months of October through April. For the Primary School, 2nd grade clssrooms are selected by the guidance counselor. Selection criteria include exemplary behavior, outstanding attitude and excellent performance. The class is presented with a plaque and the “Class of the Month” banner is posted above the classroom door.
For the High School, students are selected through the school guidance office and those selected names are then given to the Little Beaver Lions Club. To be considered, a high school student must be a Senior, an Honor Student and involved in school activities (during and after hours) as well as activities outside of school.
