| Angels Silently, they roam the earth Guarding souls with care. Watching as the hurt ones cry And counting every tear. They share our sorrow, pain and joy. They guide us to the light. They whisper wisdom in our ears To help us choose what's right. As man hurts man, their sadness grows They cannot understand Why envy, greed and violence Can be found in every land. They look to God who sent them here With helplessness and grief. They plead with Him to bring them home To keep their time here, brief. Silently, they roam the earth As we struggle through our day. Knowing that there's hope for man When we bow our heads and pray. |
