1. Spelling, Grammar, Capitalization and Punctuation
- Before you submit a story, please run the story through a spell checker. Most word processors come with one. It will be much easier for everyone to read your story. People prefer reading a story with minimal spelling errors. Anyway, I do spend time reading the stories so if I do find any spelling errors, I will correct it.
- I am not strict on grammar and I will
not let you run your story through a grammar checker too. I will tolerate minimal gramatical errors but when the whole story is gramatically incorrect, that I will not tolerate.
- I will also emphasize capitalization and punctuation. I do not want to receive stories without proper punctuation and capitalization. I do not have time to edit these kind of stories.
- Profanity and slang are excused and/or allowed.
2. Format
- Proper formatting is a must. It enhances the readability of the stories.
- Authors, please, practice proper formatting--the proper separation of paragraphs and space. Indention is optional. Start a new paragraph when there is a new speaker or when you switch main ideas.
3. Accepted file types
- I will only accept Text Documents, Word Documents and HTML. Therefore, I only accept *.txt, *.doc, and *.html
- Please limit file sizes to 60 kb
- If you have very long stories, please chop it down to chapters. If you can't, send it to me and I'll se what I can do about it.
Note: If your stories do not qualify with any of the criterea, I will reject it. So please, follow the rules I have set.
