Disclaimer:I don't own CCS, Clamp does. Don't sue! Um, this story has Silver Star and Fiery as substitutes for Yue and Kero. I never stole any ideas from the stories of Pern. The song in this last chapter, is The Time Has Come from Pokemon.
Um, a while ago, I found out from an author, Starlight Rose, author of Heart's Treasures that someone had plagiarized her story. I just want to say that, that is one of the worst things you can do in this fanfiction world. Besides killing Syaoran, Eriol and Touya off and leaving us to ogle at Yamazaki. (Shudder) No offense to Y+C fans. Why would anyone want to do this?
This is the last of Mystical Ying And Yang. I just want to thank all of the fans. I was great knowing you and I hope to hear from you all in the future. It would be great to know you still care.
This was done partially for Tomoyo. After all, besides Eriol, no one else in the world is as close as Sakura, because Tomoyo's mother and father are deceased. It seems like I haven't really shown much care for her best bud in this fic so I guess this is dedicated to me and Jas.
Now, I won't keep you any longer from the story.
Mystical Ying and Yang
Chapter 15: Beautiful Adieu
"What's time?" asked Eriol.
"For us to go." Syaoran's deep voice held a sadness that few could hear.
"Why?"
"Because we're not needed anymore. Everything done. We've defeated the evil, and we've won the war. Now, at Meili's time of peace, we have to go. Because we were here to save it. Now that it is done, there's no reason why we should stay!'" cried Sakura, crystalline tears falling from her cheeks.
"How long do you have left?" was all that Touya asked.
"Until sunset." Was all that Syaoran said.
"What will happen to Silver Star, Night Wolf and the phoenixes?" asked Tomoyo, tears falling from her eyes.
"They will take us to the caves. There we will rest and sleep till Meili is in its greatest need. They will also sleep, till we ever need them again." Sakura said, embracing Tomoyo, as they two shed their tears.
"Mistress, you can't!" a few of her clan members raced up to her, pleading looks on their faces.
She smiled, and it broke her heart but she hugged them.
"You've all become great leaders. You'll help our clan become strong. You've always been able to."
Quite a few weeping, they pulled Sakura and Syaoran along into the living quarters, while Touya, Yukito, Tomoyo and Eriol followed.
"Then, Master and Mistress, it is only right that we send you off in honour. Rest, while we prepare." Said one of the men, hugged Sakura, shook Syaoran's hand and wiped his red eyes again.
Letting their family and friends lead them to a peaceful room, Sakura stopped Tomoyo before she could leave. Eriol also paused, eying Syaoran respectively.
"Tomoyo, I'm scared." whispered Sakura, in her best friend's ear.
"Me too. I don't want you to go."
"I don't want to go."
"But we have to." Sighed Sakura.
"Best friends till the end, right?" Tomoyo asked, her beautiful purple eyes wet already with unshed tears.
"You know it.."
"Do you think we'll ever see each other again?" asked Tomoyo, with the glimmer of false hope in her heart.
"Maybe"
And with that, Sakura let go of Tomoyo and followed Syaoran into the chamber.

I close my eyes
And I can see
The day we met
Just one moment and I knew
You're my best friend
'Do anything
For you
Tomoyo smiled bravely as she watched Sakura wave to the crowd of well-wishers. She could still remember the first day that Sakura and she had met. The first time she had met the Kinomotos and had been introduced by her mother.
Sakura had seen her, smiling happily, she had dragged her new found friend to show her parents. They had been in the middle of a huge clan picnic party and it was to be Tomoyo's first.
We've gone so far
And done so much
And I feel
Like we've always been together
Right by my side
Through thick and thin
You're the part of my life
I'll always remember
Sakura was the one who had been there for her when her mother had died. She was the one who had shared shoulders and laughs with, including tears of joy and sadness. She would have done anything to ensure Sakura's happiness and she knew Sakura felt the same way.
The time has come
It's for the best, I know it
Who could have guessed that you and I
Somehow, someday
We'd have to say goodbye.
Sakura had been the one to introduce the next biggest love in her life. Eriol. The one person who could understand her as well as Saku could. And she had always been able to picture them together, even when they were old. She had even accepted Syaoran into their friendship, knowing her friend too had found love.
Tears fell, as she watched flashbacks in her mind, of playing chase, huddling up together on cold nights, holding her best friend's hand as they were teens.
You've helped me find
The strength inside
And the courage
To make all my dreams come true
How will I find
Another friend
Like you
She was hugged by a force, which had catapulted to her breast. A mop of auburn hair was on her shoulder, one she had seen many times before.
"I'll never forget you.."
"I though one day we'd have a double wedding but I guess I was wrong.."
A tear soaked face with shining emerald eyes looked up at her.
"I want you and Eriol to get married one day. I'll be watching over you to make sure."
Her best friend gave a shaking grin before wiping her tears away with her sleeve.
"You'd betta. You're my family too."
And so she let go.
Two of a kind
That's what we are
And I seemed
Like we were always winning
But as our team
Is torn apart
I wish we could go
Back to the beginning
She watched as her family climbed onto the back of her dragon. Sakura turned back one last time, waved hard and as Silver Star began to flap her wings, Tomoyo started to run as they took off. Followed by many of the clan members who were calling farewells and many other bittersweet adieus, she looked on as Syaoran's Night Wolf began flight too.
The time has come
It's for the best, I know it
Who could have guessed that you and I
Somehow, someday
We'd have to say goodbye.
As the two of the dragons went into the far distance and towards the setting sun, Tomoyo smiled, settled into Eriol's comforting arms and said her last farewell.
'Goodbye'
Somehow today
we have to say goodbye

Lying in a bed, an old woman, with aged purple eyes that had seen many things in life shed a tear. Relieving memories that day, she had shared a fond memory with her great grand daughter.
She remembered being young. Her great grand daughter was best friends with a little boy of blond hair and green eyes. Green eyes that reminded her of her best friend.
For Sakura and Syaoran had left, to the West, following the Sun, to distant lands where they would never meet again. And it was up to her to pass on the tradition of the clan leaders.
As she clutched the key that Sakura had passed onto her before the war had started, she smiled. It had been her family house key, the one that opened the gates.
Now, her gates were open to all.
OWARI
Author's Notes: Thanks to all. This has been a long and epic journey. I honestly cried writing the song and Tomoyo's feelings. I don't know why, I guess it's because it was the end of my story and it's a beautiful sad song. But thanks once again to everyone who's ever reviewed. I'm sure I would have given up a long time ago if it weren't for you's.
Hopefully, I'll see you again. So for now,
Goodbye.
