Disclaimer: Don't own CCS. Clamp does. Don't sue! The song, 'Flying Without Wings' is by Westlife, played in the second Pokemon Movie, at the end. So I don't own them.

It's nice to see you all. This is the last chapter of SFTH. I'm amazed after all the time; my first story was one of my best. It's really nice to know. Maybe I'll one day become an author. I dunno. Anyway I just want to thank for all your reviews, and encourages. I really wouldn't have done it without all of you.

But hopefully, you'll consider this story really original and read it over and over again.

My main thanks go to my Jas, cause she's the first out of my friends to read SFTH. She's often urged me to hurry up and write. Now even she's writing her own story. Also thanks to Fi, who got me all ready to do this chapter, as everyone wanted me too.

Sung From The Heart

Chapter 20: Ying Hua, Xiao Lang

"Syaoran! Where are we going?"

A delighted Sakura, her eyes closed because of a blindfold, was being pulled along softly by Syaoran who was leading her up a stone path, one of his hands hold one of hers as he pushed around some pine trees.

"Somewhere special, Sakura"

"Syaoran?"

Syaoran had gone silent as he took out a key, put it in a lock and turned it. He opened the door and led her in.

Everybody's looking for a something
One thing that makes is all complete
You'll find it in the strangest places
Places you never knew it could be

The first thing that assaulted her senses was the quietness. Then the smells flooded her. Blossoms of all kind almost blocked her nose, tickled her tongue and made her sigh completely. She belonged here. Among flowers, among the cherry blossoms that dominated.

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

And when Syaoran hooked the blindfold off her eyes, a glimpse of amber shone, before her eyes cleared enough to see the field of flowers and blossoms that were upon her. Sakura trees were all around the couple, as the wind blew, the soft petals fell all over them.

Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You'll find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry

She whirled around and around, being a cherry blossom petal like her namesake. And her beloved watched her as she danced, his eyes contented in her happiness. This was their garden, and no one else belonged to it. As it said on the inscription on the engraved arch, it was meant for his beloved. For carved was the word, 'Sakura'.

You'll find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all your life
And when you know how much it means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

She danced around the garden, across the paths to finally come to a rest on a wooden bench under the biggest cherry blossom tree in the garden.

"Syaoran Why are our names on this garden?" Sakura enquired, as her love sat down next to her.

"It was this way when I found it"

"Was it theirs?"

"Don't you mean ours, dear?" Syaoran asked, a playful face on.

He placed his arm around her waist, keeping her close to him.

"Yes, it was their's and it's now ours He never did get to show it to her see.. So it's only right if you see it After all, it was meant for you in the first place." He held her face with his free hand, his thumb caressing her velvety cheek.

So impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
Cos who's to know which one you let go
Would have made you complete

"Do you like it here? In Hong Kong?" asked Syaoran, his warm voice, making her shiver with delight.

"You're here and I'm with you, and I never want to leave your arms again," she answered.

"So you wouldn't mind answering my question then eh?" he said while nuzzling her hair.

"Will you, Ying Hua, marry me? After everything that's happened and after all this time we've been apart?"

"Will you?"

Well, for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place

With a soft look in her eyes of jade, she smiled.

"What if I said I didn't want to be your wife?"

After his silence, and the shocked look she knew were written on his hidden face, she turned to look at him.

"I don't just want to be your wife. I want to be your beloved, your sweetheart, your soul mate, your sun and your night like how you're mine"

"So you'll marry me?"

"What do you think Syaoran? Hasn't life proved that we have a choice? If we choose to be together or not. I'm willing Are you?"

Before she could talk anymore, he kissed her.

Sweetly, with both hands on her cheeks, playing so she longed for more. Making her press forward to deepen the kiss.

It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
Cos you're my special thing
I'm flying without wings

And so her slipped the ring on. The one that had been with the items and the key he had found so long ago. It was silver, with twinkling diamonds that created a beautiful cherry blossom, entwined in vines. Inside of the ring there was a dedication.

For Ying Hua from her Xiao Lang.

And in this place I long to be
You'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy it brings
I'm flying without wings

And they sat there, cuddling, in each other's arms forever, never to be further than one and another for long.

-=-=-=-

It's a beautiful day, midsummer's eve. At dusk when the air glimmered with golden light, you walk down the old familiar path, one you've been told about many times before. You're allowed to walk in this garden. After all you're part of the Li family.

Or at least you will be soon. After being accepted as a Li, you been instructed in it's stories, myths and religious rules. One of your favourite stories has been about one of the Li's greatest leaders and his wife. They say that the garden was made for his wife, and he had made it himself. Only fiancs outside of the true Clan family may walk in it. Only once in a lifetime though, just before the wedding day, so they can make the choice, if their love is as undying as they say, to devote their lives to their fiance and soon to be, life partner, for it's story is one about everlasting love.

But then again, you are marrying the Clan's next ruler, whose great, great grandfather is that same Li Leader, Xiao Lang Li. And from the murmuring of the Elders, you know that your beloved has certain aspects that come from that same couple long ago. The same brown hair, the same green eyes.

You slowly enter the garden, walking softly along that same path that others have walked before you. And then you come to the arch. Carved with cherry blossoms and the name 'Sakura' on it, you know now that all of your wonderings have been true. They're really was a lover called Sakura, and that the two of them had true, undying love.

Alone in a little clearing, next to a clear bubbling stream, a pedestal stands, that spot bathed in light. The nightingale calls every so often in this clearing, as you take a seat on an old wooden bench, with the words 'Sakura + Syaoran Forever' etched on it with silver filing.

You pause, feeling all of the hard work that has been put into this garden, and how untouched it has lied for so any years, only being visited by fiances and partners-to-be. You stand up and wander toward the pedestal.

Inscribed on it are delicate Chinese words, done twice more, one in Japanese and the other in English.

What is love?
Is it something that is untouched?
Or is it one's happiness that lies's in another?
Happy are those in love,
For their happiness is the purity of being with,
They're other half of the soul.

You murmur this small poem, twirling it around your tongue. When you finish you realise that your voice was not the only one to say it. There are others in the garden.

"I know Eriol wrote this poem in memory of us but did he really have to immortalise it?" asked a voice with a lilt of ancient tongue.

You turn around Not knowing what to expect but remembering something that your beloved mentioned to you.

'Don't worry, nothing and no one will harm you there'

You had wondered what that had meant but now you know.

When you look, two beings stand before you, not really much older, but you can't tell.

"Hi! What's your name?" asks the girl being, with soft brown hair and startling emerald eyes that remind you of you loved one.

You tell her your name; she greets you and introduces herself.

"Sakura Kinomoto, or in other words, Sakura Li. And this is Syaoran, or as you might know as Xiao Lang Li, I presume?" she says with a small grin.

They're the legendary couple, the owners of the garden!

"But.. but you're supposed to be dead!" you stutter, amazed and a tiny bit frightened.

"We're immortal, if you want the truth," says Xiao Lang, sliding his arm around Sakura.

She wrinkled her nose, sniffed and softly sneezed.

"Well it's because of the Cards really, since we're the Card masters. You do know about the Cards don't you?" she asked, after she recovers.

You nod yes. "But do you live here all the time?"

Both of them nod.

"But we got to sleep for 10 years, after each meeting and then we wake for 2 years, take care of the garden, advise the Elders, and then go back to sleep until the next meeting. But the sleeping is nice. We get to visit our dead and loved ones in our dreams. But we'll stay forever young." She said, a bittersweet smile on her face.

"Now, for tonight, you and I will be alone, so you can ask any questions. About anything practically. Syaoran would do it for this meeting but it's my turn." She then turned and stuck her tongue out at Xiao Lang, who just smiled for the first time since you met.

He gives her a quick kiss, partly prolonged by Sakura holding onto him, but then they part.

And then you're left with the beautiful Sakura Li.

-=-=-=-

After midnight has passed and the sun is beginning to rise, your questions are all answered and everything you needed to know is said, Xiao Lang joins both of you now. You feel this time, that you've know both of them your whole lifetime.

You hug Sakura, bow justly to Xiao Lang and as he nods to you, you know you are ready for your wedding. And you can look a your loved one with a new light.

For love cannot be changed, weather you harbour it in your heart or not.

So you wave goodbye to the two of them, as a mist surrounds them, and their figures cannot be seen anymore.

They will live forever with each other, as you have secretly known, deep inside in your heart.

OWARI

Author's Notes:
I hope you enjoyed this chapter and my whole story. I personally hate endings, happy or not because I'll never know what really happens in the end. What adventures will happen in the future after we leave the main characters. But now I cannot do anymore for this story. All I can do is hope that you love this story.

*sobbing* My first and best story is finished!

Thanks to all

I'll miss you..
