Chapter 4: Shocking News
Later on that year�
"We are on, three, two, one!" said the camera man as Sakura, Tomoyo and the hostess of Live Music, pasted smiles on their faces. They were on live TV and it was to be broadcasted to all of Japan and China.
"Welcome to Live Music, the most popular music show all around Asia!" "Today we're here to talk to the blooming artist, Sakura Kinomoto and her friend, Tomoyo Daidouji," said the hostess, Rita.
"Sakura, what started your singing career?" asked the host.
"Um, it was all a surprise, Tomoyo threw on me." "I was shocked at first" replied Sakura.

"She is so kawaii! Don't you think so Xiao Lang?" gushed Sally as she squeezed Syaoran's body.
He didn't reply, too intent on the TV, watching the live show.
"She's as gorgeous as ever," he thought to himself.
As the hostess continued her questions, one issue caught his attention.
"Being the pretty girl you are, have you been kissed before?" asked Rita, with a sly smile.
Blushing, Sakura said, "No�" and immediately clammed up.
Pushing her luck, Rita continues, " Do you love anyone though?"
"No comment" replied Sakura, giving Rita a look.
Changing the subject, Rita continues by asking, " Why are you songs depressing and do you compose then yourself?"
"Yes, I do compose them and the reason is because they're sung from my heart," said Sakura, expression sad.
"And so this interview draws to a near but we have to draw the lucky winner of the Sakura competition."
The barrel rolled and as it slowed to a stop, Rita pulled out the slip.
As a drum roll sounded, she read out the name, "Xiao Lang Li of Hong Kong, China."
Shock just filled the lounge room in the Li Mansion as Syaoran and Sally sat, shell-shocked.
Sally was the first out of the trance and immediately pleaded go with him. Waking up from the shock, he dazedly nodded his head.
Immediately a phone rings when an overcome Syaoran picks it up. "Hello, Li residence, Xiao Lang Li speaking, how can I help you?" he said.
"Hi, if you didn't know, you've won the Sakura Kinomoto Competition so you and another person of your choice are going to Hawaii to enjoy Sakura's company for 3 weeks. Lucky you!" "All of your things have been paid and all you have to do is round up your friend and leave for the airport in two days. Gate 6 at 6:00 am. Anyway bye!"
But before Syaoran could say anything, the ringer had hung up. Just as he was going to put the phone back, another caller rang.
Before Syaoran was able to ask who it was, a familiar voice said, "You won!" Then a soft giggle was heard.
"Meilin? Did you set this up?" Syaoran said in an accusing voice.
A gasp was heard and soon after she said, " You are really on the ball today, Xiao Lang. How did you guess? You get to spend 3 weeks with your beloved Sakura!"
Entering his bedroom and locking the door behind him, a quarrel continued.

Two days later�
All packed and ready, Sally and Syaoran stood waiting for the plane to come. Getting into an argument with his mother about the trip, she had ordered him to go. Sighing, he watched Sally prance around, totally unaware that most of the security guards were watching her. (She was acting real crazy, all right?)
As the two of them waved goodbye to their friends and boarded the plane, Syaoran wondered, "Will she be the same?" "Will she hate me?" and all these other questions while Sally fell asleep oh his shoulder, tired from being too active.

5 hours later�
"Welcome to Hawaii! You many now get off the plane in an orderly fashion. Please remove your seat belts. Have a good day!" said the airhostess.
Getting off, Syaoran noticed a pink aura. "Who else but Sakura�"
As he followed the aura's power, his eyes came to a girl. Glossy auburn hair with a hibiscus stuck in it, friendly emerald eyes and a great body in a black skirt and a white top with a cherry blossom.

After being told that she would be stuck on Hawaii with Syaoran, someone who she had wanted to see for 6 years, Sakura thought this trip would be fantastic. Being in Hawaii before, she immediately thought of all the sights she could show him and his friend. She got even more excited this morning when she felt a familiar aura, in fact a green one.
As she stood there waiting for the arrivals, she watched everyone around and then looked down as her watch. "It's coming closer, in fact it's heading for me," she thought to herself.
Looking up, she was greeted by a fiery amber gaze that she could never forget. "Syaoran� It's you!" and promptly jumped and hugged him.
Unaware of Sally approaching, Sakura and Syaoran heard a voice exclaim, "Excuse me miss, but what are you doing hugging my boyfriend?"
Sakura immediately recoiled and looked at Syaoran.
Thinking quickly, she smiled and said, "Sorry about that, Syaoran and I used to know each other." "Since you're both here now, why don't I show you where you'll stay?" and walked off while the others quickly caught up to her.
"He broke his promise, he forgot about me�" she thought, as her heart broke into a thousand pieces.
