(Jon stops abrupty and looks at Nick in amazement)
Jon- An...arranged....marriage........I know how excited you must be. But before you run off and tell all your friends make sure you mark your calender, then wedding is in 3 weeeks...hugs and kisses....mom and dad...
(Jon looks at Nick once again in disbelief and goes back to confirm what he just read)
Jon- Wow, thats uh...certainly different...oh wait theres more here....P.S. Im sure you'll mmake beautiful White-Viet babies.
(Chris lets out a giggle but remembers the seriousness of the situation and silences himself.)
Jon- Well, uh...I guess youll be getting ready to move out soon, huh?
(Nick nods slightly)
Jon- Hey man, look on the brightside. Your life is set now. You finally get to get your butt out of my house and make something of yourself. Besides, Julie's awesome she'll be a great wife.
(Jon and Chris notice Nick blink for the first time. After a long, drawn out silence Nick seems to come out of his 'other world')
Nick- Yeah....Yeah! you're right! This will be good for me. Time to start a new chapter in my life
Chris- Dude, dont ever use that gayass phrase again.
(Jon chuckles to himself. The phone rings, Jon answers)
Jon- Hello?....Nick! its Julie!
(Jon tosses him the phone)
Nick- H-hello?
Julie- What the hell is this crap! An arranged marriage!? What the hell!? Just so you know, I had nothing to do with this, and im as unhappy about it as you so dont go getting any ideas. Ugh, Bye!
Nick- B-bye.
(Nick hangs up the phone and turns back to Chris and Jon who both have that 'oh shit' look on their faces)
