With Ajax Jari becomes four times the Champion of the Netherlands.
The fist titel is in 1994, the breakthough of Jari and he is the topscorer
of the competition. He also becomes player of the year in Holland and
Finland. In 1995 Jari gets his 2nd title, but that stands a little in the
shade because he also won the Champions League that year. In 1996 Ajax
becomes champion again, it is the last title with the champions-team
of 1995: Finide George, Edgar Davids, Michael Reiziger and Nwanko Kanu
leave Ajax. In 1997 Jari has to cope with a lot of injuries, Ajax
has a bad season and ends on 4th place. Coach Louis van Gaal goes to
Barcelona, and Morten Olsen is the new coach. The fist year with Olsen
Ajax becomes champion in 1998, with a great distance with the other clubs.
The next season: 1998-1999 is a desaster again, in november Olsen is
fired and frank and Ronald de Boer leave Ajax with a lot of rumor.
It is a bad season. The new coach is Jan Wouters. it is Jari's last
Ajax year, he goes to Barcelona.
