Everyone has to have a hobby, right? And then there all those signs outside churches - "Isn't there more to your life than birth, work, fun and death." Well there is. We all want to be useful. And I support the ongoing work at Arecibo, started by Carl Sagan, and carried on by staff at Berkeley University. SETI: Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence.
