Title: What Are Friends For Kate Steele has written a short story that is a little like a love triangle of sorts. Adriene is best friends with Mitch. They met over the internet and have been almost inseparable ever since. Through Mitch, Adriene met his twin brother Mike, and that's where the sparks really start to fly. Adriene might love Mitch, but she's in love with Mike. She just doesn't want him to know it. This is a very well written story that grabs the reader from the beginning and keeps your attention until the end. Mitch is a star in the homosexual porn industry, and there is one scene involving male on male action. This scene is done very tastefully and actually takes place on the set of a homosexual porn movie. All of the characters are very comfortable with the homosexual lifestyle and Adriene and Mike are very supportive of Mitch and his choice of careers. Ms. Steele let's each character tell part of the story, so the reader gets a chance to see what each one is thinking. This story keeps you reading to see what's going to happen next. The ending will leave the reader smiling and looking for a best friend like the one Adriene has in Mitch. It's a sweet story that any reader would enjoy. |
