Earth is a victim of post-nuclear war and an asteroid impact.  The planet must be rebuilt, repopulatedlife must find a way.  Evan and Adam are to be apart of the ongoing project to repopulate the planet, and they go to an island together to work on this important mission with their intelligence and a stock of embryos and eggs.

Evan is from Mars, not entirely human; Adam is a survivor from the destruction that had befallen to his planet.  Together, they create a teamand much more.  They cant deny the attraction sizzling in the air.  Thus begins a passionate affair.

Earth is in for more destruction as another asteroid hits.  Evan and Adam must take cover and save what they can of the animals on the island.  Hidden in a mountain, they wait out the tidal wave that wipes out most of the island.  But now how are they to proceed with their duty?  How can they hope to create life, especially after the unexpected asteroid wiped out most of the life left on Earth? Can they proceed with an illegal act for the sake of saving the planet?

Samantha Winston has written one of the most imaginative romances Ive read in a long time.  The chemistry between Adam and Evan is so hot and well-written, one could scorch their fingers on their PDA.  The sex scenes are stimulating, and the emotions between the characters are believable.

The entire concept of how the new life was created to ensure Earths future was genius.  Thus, Ms. Winston writes a world all her own, with future stories sure to entertain readers.

Yes, this is an m/m romance, but any erotic romance fan would enjoy the heat and creative sex scenes.  I truly loved it and hope to read the next installments soon!

Suzanne Briggs has just pitched a fabulous article idea to the owner of a trendy magazine.  The owner takes her on for a series of 3 sexual information sharing articles on the proviso that she takes his son with her when she goes anywhere that might be dangerous in her research.  Suzanne agrees, but is not happy about carting the jerk everywhere.  Her sex-life has never been great and the articles should be useful for her too she hopes.  Mike MacKenzie has just become an editor at his fathers magazine and he is bored out of his brain.  He wonders how he can get back out in the field instead of babysitting some silly old freelancer who knows nothing about sex.  His own love-life is non-existent, all women seem to be after is his fathers money, and settling down with a couple of kids not what Mike wants at all.  When the two meet, they are both surprised, and sparks start flying immediately.

Amy OConnor is very good at getting you hot.  Persuading Suzanne starts off with a bang, and continues sparkling until the end.  The sexual tension between Suzanne and Mike is amazing, and the payoffs are unbelievable.  Suzanne puts herself in Mikes very capable hands in order to learn just what she has been missing out on sexually, and both characters are very believable.  Ms. OConnor obviously did her BDSM research I was impressed with the accuracy of her knowledge.  I can honestly say that I couldnt read this book all the way through in one session, the sensations that the reader will feel areamazing.  Ms. OConnor still manages to inject her signature humor into the situation, especially as we watch Mike struggle to hold back.  I highly recommend Persuading Suzanne, and cant wait to read more from this author.

On holiday in Mexico, Sylvia Radcliff is robbed at gunpoint by her cab driver and dumped in the jungle, many miles from civilization. Its here that shes found by Heath, a brooding, agoraphobic loner whod made the jungle his home. Left with no other option, Sylvia goes with him to his cabin.

Sylvia is a city girl and the concept of being several days walk from the nearest village is beyond her comprehension. Heath, on the other hand, cant even think about people other than the neighbouring farmer and his family without becoming anxious. They are completely different personality types yet there is also an instant sexual attraction between them.

The first person Heath has been comfortable spending any time with is Sylvia. He isnt willing to let her go. Sylvia wants nothing other than to deny the attraction she has to this sexy man who seems to want to make her his own. She agrees to stay three days, and in that time shell do whatever he requires. After that, he has promised to take her to the village.

Heath is a gorgeous character, torn by his own emotions. He hates himself for forcing Sylvia to spend the time with him, but hes also too desperate to allow her to leave him. Sylvia is equally interesting. In her comfortable city life she would never admit to enjoying the submissive behaviour Heath asks of her. In the jungle, however, she finds her mind and body in constant conflict.

Primitive Passion is a wonderful, character-driven romance I found difficult to put down. I desperately wanted to know how two such different people would ever find a compromise that allowed them to be together. The love scenes are very erotic and totally believable. My only criticism would be that the ending was perhaps a little too neat and slightly rushed, but was nonetheless very satisfying. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more of Ms Lanes work.
