Dylan is secretly lusting after a sex life with Kayla. Their late night talks and early morning rituals have become a comfortable part of both their lives. After one such talk, Kayla is inspired to invent a new sex toy � an anal plug. She wants Dylan to test it for her on himself. Dylan of course thinks she has gone insane, anal plugs are for gay men and no way is he putting it up his butt, especially since the last time he tried one of Kayla�s inventions he couldn�t watch television without the microwave going off. After a nasty night of poker with Kayla using her cleavage to wipe the floor on the guys, Dylan proposes an extra hand � if he wins, Kayla has phone sex with him, if he loses then he will be her test subject on the anal plug. It�s all or nothing and Joker�s Wild.
Lena Matthews writes hot, and that�s an understatement. The sex scenes in Joker�s Wild: Call Me are amazing. It is obvious that Dylan and Kayla are a perfect fit in the bedroom. Dylan is a great mix between the typical alpha hero, and the boy-next-door best friend. Kayla is a wonderful free-spirit who is always on the go. Add in the secondary characters and stir � to get some of the best characterization I�ve read in a contemporary for a long time. This book is fun, at times I was laughing out loud � contrasted with the times I felt like crying, while at the same time I was getting hot � this book makes you feel. I highly recommend Joker�s Wild: Call Me, and will be looking for more from Lena Matthews in the future.

Chris Davis did not have a nice early childhood, it stills gives him nightmares twenty years later. He has learned to look after himself, and does well with his own firm, and a nice apartment. His only problem with life right now is that his new assistant, Eliza, is extremely good looking, and Chris can�t help but be attracted to her. He is also pretty certain that the feeling is mutual. After six months of working with Chris, Eliza is getting extremely frustrated that the flirting and sexual looks are not progressing to anything sexual � except in her late night dreams. She is getting sick of pleasuring herself and wants to feel Chris doing it instead. Things get further complicated when Chris finds out that Eliza has a daughter � he doesn�t like to date women with kids. They�re both pretty miserable until Eliza proposes a deal: she wants three nights of Chris fulfilling her every fantasy, and if he still wants to walk away, then she�ll let him.
The writing was a bit jolty in the first chapter, but soon picked up into the witty dialogue that I love Lena Matthews for, and situations that had me literally laughing out loud. The prologue is very very dark, and Ms. Matthews has tackled a really tough subject, and done so amazingly well. She mixes just the right amount of humor so that the reader can cope with Chris�s dark baggage. Readers of the previous Joker�s Wild book will be happy to know that Kayla and Dylan again play a large role in this book, as well as Kayla�s friend Missy who the author is setting up to be the star of book three. I don�t read a lot of contemporaries, but for some wacky reason the Joker�s Wild series makes me laugh, and cry, in all the right places. I highly recommend THREE NIGHTS to everyone, and I will be looking out for the next in the series.

Five females are delivered to a hostile world called Borishia, a world where every commodity is calculated costed and then traded for. All of the women have signed contracts which allows them to be sold to the highest bidder.
When Uther � a prominent council member on Borishia - makes a bid for Miniane (one of the five) she agrees on condition the other four are purchased by him as well. Enraptured by her dark exotic beauty, Uther agrees. His adversary, Lailoken, who had hoped to acquire some of the women as well is not pleased at all and plots revenge.
While the story focuses and Mininae, who has some interesting secrets of her own, the experiences of the other women are explored : Badbh a sexual dominant, Ganeida a shy virgin, and Macha and Talmia who prefer the company of their own kind.
The book has many characters, and while initially I thought there might be too many, Emy manages to reach into the heart of each woman as their fate unfolds. There are many sensual scenes and all are wonderfully done. The setting is exotic and the story realistic and intriguing.
Considering the story is only 73 pages long, One Way to Love is a masterful piece of work.
